Have tried getting maintenance done since July... every time they say someone will call us... nobody ever calls.

Now they don’t even answer our calls, but still want rent paid on time every month.

Update: They eventually did fix the problem… but it took me threatening to stop paying rent to get it fixed.

Their lack of care about anything at all is what made me buy a house… worst rental company ever.

Dishonest Company! Look at Thier places ! Look at Thier prices! They may have gotten themselves a better bldg than that old Laundry Mat but NOT any homes worth checking out! Make sure you check dates on water Heater and Heat and Air Conditioners!!!! Very Important!!!!

I moved in a little less than a week ago and so far my experience has been great! I got approved relatively quickly and moved in at a date that was convenient for me. Minor initial issues with the apartment, but they are on it and are solving things as quickly as they can. Great communication with the front office. If you have your stuff in order and are a reasonable human being, you will have a great experience with TNT Western Homes. Best management company in Ridgecrest!

My husband and I have been renting a trailer - owned by a couple that contracts TNT - for 7 plus years. Tim has always been willing to help us with anything. The trailer is very old, so there have been many issues we have had to deal with over the 7 years. But the owners are very hard for him to work with, especially these last 4 years. However, Tim has continued fighting for us to address the problems he is able. It is my understanding that our trailer is the only property that keeps him tied to the owners. So he has tried to recommend other places for us. But it hasn't been feasible for us to move at this time.
My only recommendation to TNT would be to have better communication and follow through. 7 years is a long time...changes occur, employees change, etc. I also understand that is often a part of running such a company where there are many contractors to deal with. Over all, we would highly recommend renting, or purchasing, through TNT. When you pay your rent, try to be a good and honest tenant, you will be treated right. We have been respected, we feel like Tim cares about our welfare.

Awesome staff .. very cooperative n efficient.. now you can pay u r rent online .. if you have any problem in apartment you can call or schedule appointment online also on their online portal. Handicap parking and entrance available.

I honestly don't get the one star reviews. These guys have been great. Have been renting from them for about three years and their maintenance people are excellent.

** UPDATE after renting from them for four years and moving out. I did indeed love the maintenance people. But the communication with them, the landlord, and TNT is very poor. We had to call TNT consistently for anything to be done. We never heard any information from the landlord in the entire time we were living there. Usually the maintenance folks would just give us their business card directly in order to expedite the process.

For TNT: I think the best thing to do is to schedule a time to call the tenant back to make sure a situation is resolved. In the case of a maintenance issue, I was often left with the promise that a maintenance person would call me eventually. I think it would be better if the tenant had a number to call the maintenance person instead, especially if it is taking a while. Otherwise, the tenant will just be annoyed and feel that they were forgotten about.

For tenants: I wish you the best in getting your deposit back because very minor things can count against your deposit. We hired carpet cleaners and a general house cleaner, which made the place SPOTLESS, and we still were dinged for minor things that ALREADY EXISTED before we lived there.

Also, protip that I learned from my neighbors; wipe the top of shelves in closets because that can cost you.

Overall: The staff was always very nice and courteous, and if you don't have any major problems, the rental process is very easy and laid-back. But be sure to be aware of the above potential headaches before renting with them.

My wife and I have applied, and are waiting on a decision for a home as I type This review.
They've been very responsive, transparent, informative, and kind.
Even with a fair credit score. hopefully we get some good news.
and hopefully our reputation and history as renters speaks for itself
