We had a great stay in Fredericksburg, VA. This property delivered on cleanliness, location (walking distance to everything!), comfort (beds and furniture), and was very well stocked. The pictures online are a good representation of what you'll be renting. If I visit the area again, I will rent this unit!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Evolve Vacation Rentals. I booked a property with them in a very rural part of Arizona, surrounded by deep woods. Eighteen days before our stay, we discovered a serious safety concern: a neighbor across the street had disturbing signs like "we don't give warning shots around here due to the price of ammo." Additionally, this neighbor decided to put up very aggressive political propaganda directly facing the rental property. As a parent of young children who love to play outside, I did not feel safe bringing them into this environment.I immediately contacted Evolve to explain the situation and requested a cancellation with a full refund. Despite the circumstances, Evolve refused to consider a refund, hiding behind their strict cancellation policy. Multiple representatives were unhelpful and showed no empathy or concern for our safety. After multiple days of calling and requests for callbacks, I was told there was no supervisor on site to address my concerns.If you want to deal with a ruthless company that doesn’t care about the safety of its guests and makes no exceptions to its policies, Evolve is the company for you. All they care about is their money and nothing else. I've never had such bad customer service in my life. They clearly prioritize their policies over customer well-being. I will not be booking with Evolve Vacation Rentals again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Good value in a location that was convenient for our visit. One concern we had was that the bathroom did not appear to have been adequately cleaned. As we arrived later in the evening, and were very tired from traveling across the country, I just took care of the cleaning myself, and did not reach out to the hosts. All else was good and we had been given a heads up the the mini-split AC in the master bedroom was not working, but it was never an issue as the outside temperature at night was very comfortable.

Very cozy little cottage with everything you need and a large fully fenced backyard with firepit. Ample space for pets to run around. Enjoyed and relaxed during our stay of 10 days in Nov 2024.

Booked through Evolve On VRBO for the first time. Booking was super fast and easy. They also answered my questions very quickly and friendly. The property was nice and clean, except the back deck had a huge hole and some drilled a couple planks over them, and one of the beds was broken. There was also a "guest" book saying that the owners lived in the same neighborhood and would know of we threw a party. It was strange. Overall though I would book again.
