Well, let me start off by saying I was hesitant. I have purchased homes in the past and used a real estate agent that has been a part of purchasing residential and commercial property within my family for quite awhile.

I am so happy with my decision. Shannon was not only helpful in helping my family find the right home, but being patient with my unorthodox approach. Let's just say I didn't make it "easy" for her. I was so back and forth on location, to build, to purchase and what my expectations i was looking for my future purchase.

She was patient, kind, and was amazingly easy to work with. She not only felt like a real estate agent, but a friend.

Dennie did a great job helping us find a new home! She worked within our set budget and really paid attention to what we were looking for. The house we chose to buy was a tough one because of some liens on the property, but she worked closely with the listing agent and title company to make sure we got the house. Plus she's a fun person and very pleasant to deal with!

Monique was the only property mgr in Rifle that was able to find me a suitable place that would accept my moose of a dog Hershey Kisses. I had regular inspections and they took care of all repairs expeditiously. I got to know Monique & Gail quite well and consider them friends. They went to bat for me several times when the HOA wanted to fine me. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or manage their property.

Based on a positive experience of working with Shannon Kyle (who is fantastic), we hired Cheryl and Co. as property managers in the summer of 2017. As long as all you need them to do is collect the rent and take their share, they are fine. If you want them to perform routine maintenance, respond quickly to emergency needs (sewer back-ups), or maintain regular communication with you as a property owner, you are out of luck. DO NOT HIRE THEM to manage your property. Your property will end up worse off than how it started and you will not be getting even a basic value for the money you pay them.

Following a recent unnecessary flood at our property Cheryl and Co's staff blamed everyone from the tenant to the handyman and then me for their complete mismanagement of the situation. The lack of acknowledging where they had completely dropped the ball speaks to a basic lack of professionalism and integrity. As a long-distance landlord, the logistics of taking them to small claims court to recover the damages are not realistic. Save yourself the cost and the stress and find a different property manager.

Based on the way they talked about the current tenant and tried to blame her for this situation, I would also be very cautious about renting from them. If they can shift blame from themselves to anyone else (tenants included), it appears that they will.

Cheryl was good but unfortunately one of her realtors really sucks he works for the buyers not the sellers and can’t do as he says for the sellers sorry as far as I’m concerned he lies a lot wouldn’t recommend him at all and I don’t know how many people work there or if there is more than one male but I’m sure he knows who he is and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Although Monique could not help us find a rental that would accommodate our 3 dogs in Garfield County, she did refer us to someone in Grand Junction, and they found us a place. To say that she does not go above and beyond is a total understatement. I referred my friends to her and hope she can help them find a rental in December!
