This Texas rental management property has been doing really well since we have moved into our new home. They communicate well with us and manage everything to get done in a timely matter. The only reason why I do not give a five star rating is due to the fact that when we moved into the property, it was in November and unfortunately the heater for the home was not working and forced me and my family to spend money out of our own pocket to buy electrical heaters. I would have thought that the management company would ensure that everything was properly functioning in the home prior to new tenants residing in it yet unfortunately that was not the case. In conclusion, though we experienced an unfortunate circumstance in the first weeks of moving in, since then they have been good to us.

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with Open House and their team. They are responsive, kind and their vendors have always been really good as well! Heath and Cesar are my go to maintenance guys and my favorites from the Open House team.

Everyone on the management side has been helpful as needed and I have had a personally wonderful experience with the assistant PM Amber for my property. Any issue I have had gets resolved timely and some of the vendors worth mentioning that provided such wonderful customer service are Major League Services (plumbing), Dura Pier and his team (foundation work.)

We have enjoyed having Open House as our property management team so much that we have worked with them for 2 years and renewed our lease again for another 2 years!

Do your research, and read the other reviews that are positive, because not everyone's experience is a bad experience.

Journey To That Place

From a renter (2022-2024): So far, my experience has been good. Any work orders are taken care of pretty quickly. The only issue I’ve had is that they don’t have an emergency maintenance phone number and we needed it. It’s not a big deal unless it is. Otherwise, I would definitely rent with them again.

While we are only on a 1 year renewal currently after we previously were given a generous 3 year, we hope the company will extend us at least another 1 year for 2025-2026 because we have been very happy with their services.
