I sought Margaret Muir and her team because of her experience in the Madison shoreline market and especially with my neighborhood. I knew that I had a quality product for her to sell but it seemed less in value than her usual houses. I was honored that she decided to be my realtor.

I was surprised when Margaret set the asking price at what I thought a too high level and she estimated that it would sell within a week. Indeed it met her predictions. The house sold within a day above asking price!

Janet is completely invested in finding her clients the best buyer or the best home to live in...she works tirelessly and is responsive to all questions (even if you repeat them because you are unclear), Janet knows construction, from the basement to the rooftop. She always refers to the professional (roofer, plumber, etc.) but understands the importance of looking below the surface of a home. Our Sotheby's agent, Kirsten Adams, has been amazing. We initially listed our house with another agent at a competitive brokerage. What a mistake! Our home had little interest and no showings for weeks. As soon as Kirsten took over, our situation changed dramatically. Kirsten helped us improve our online presence and fixed the price. These improvements have translated into real buyer interest. We know that November is not the best month to sell a house, but interest is now 10 fold what it was with the other agent in the better months.
