NIGHTMARES WITH RIVER CITY MANAGEMENT!
My girlfriend recently rented a property at 137 Schreiner Place through River City Management in San Antonio and had a terrible experience. Here's why we wouldn't recommend them:
* UNLIVABLE CONDITIONS: The biggest issue was a vermin infestation in the walls. Despite repeated complaints, River City Management Group was slow to respond and the issue persisted throughout most of her tenancy.
* UNFAIR CHARGES: The lease agreement didn't mention any fees for finding a new tenant, yet they charged her a whopping $2,800 when she moved out. This feels predatory and deceitful.
* SECURITY DEPOSIT DECEPTION: Despite leaving the house in excellent condition, they withheld a significant portion of her security deposit without proper justification. This adds insult to injury after the problems she endured.
Overall, River City Management Group's lack of responsiveness, hidden fees, and unfair deductions made renting a nightmare for my girlfriend. Steer clear if you're looking for a professional and honest property management company in San Antonio.

They are consistently professional, prompt in taking care of things, honest, and just great people who show excellence in delivering warm and caring customer service. Lately we have had a very positive experience with River City Management. Our hot water heater stop working and Al made sure it was repaired the next day since he didn’t want us to go without hot water over the weekend. Then our kitchen faucet water pressure was so low we couldn’t use it and he again had it fixed quickly. Very grateful!

River city management group in San Antonio was horrible to deal with regarding repairs on a house we rented. Even though we followed their procedures in requests for maintenance some were ignored and closed without resolving. Staff is rude and unprofessional. Says something will get done and then it doesn’t happen. If you see a property that you want to rent is managed by this group RUN the other way. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. The owner of our rental said she fired them after being kept in the dark about what was happening. I was told that a moldy and leaky washer would be removed but then told no my request were “excessive”.

I hired River City Management to manage my property and help me get it rented. The company mad a listing for my house, but didn't put the listing on Zillow. I had to make my own Zillow page, but used the River City Management email for the page, so they could manage it for me. Which is, THEIR JOB. My house sat on the market for 2 months! The company NEVER responded to ANY of the Zillow messages and never notified me that I needed to send someone for the lawn. They put in absolutely NO EFFORT into getting my house rented. If you're expecting to get a property manager that actually does their job, DO NOT GO WITH RIVER CITY MANAGEMENT. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
