We did the quartz trail ride and it was great! We had a little bit of an issue with a stubborn horse, but that's normal and Laura was a great help handling them. The scenery is beautiful, and it was cool to learn the history of the property. A fantastic way to spend part of your day in the foothills!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience on the trails. Our guide and assistants did a great job training us on the horses, and answering any questions with an in-depth response. Not only is it a fun experience, it's a place to learn about horses and history in California. Horses were very cared for, healthy, and friendly. Will be going again.

Laura and her family were very welcoming! We had a change of schedule last minute and they were kind enough to accommodate us.
We went as a group of 9, all beginners. Laura divided us into 2 groups, taught us what to do, helped us get comfortable with the horses in a small gated area first, and then we went on a stroll in the green fields.

Such a beautiful experience, well-behaved horses and kind hosts ❤️

We had a wonderful ride with Laura in the beautiful spring grass covered gold country rolling hills. She chose the perfect horses out of her sweet personal "herd" based on our level of experience. We loved hearing about the history of the ranch as we rode. It was such a memorable family adventure. Thank you Laura!

Had a lot of fun during our hour long trail ride. Laura was great and let us go on in front and was very helpful. Would highly recommend a trail ride.

We had a great time learning about and riding the horses. My son and daughter loved getting to brush the horses before the ride. All of the horses were beautiful and very sweet. The location had spectacular views and there were a lot of other farm animals to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Laura - Thank you!!! We had a fabulous ride. If I lived near, I would come here to ride often. The horses were very well taken care of and very well trained. My wife was a bit anxious at first but was put at ease by your instruction and the gentleness of Buffina. We ?% recommend Trails of 49!!!

Laura was AMAZING! She did a fantastic job explaining each horse and the history along the trail. Ruger was an absolute dream to ride!!!! Such a beautiful horse and very responsive to commands
