Crowley Associates - Bethany Beach, Delaware

We used Crowley because they have the largest and best selection of properties in Bethany Beach.
The Crowley website is so bad it’s virtually unusable. The staff was helpful providing a good number of properties that met our requirements.
Crowley’s phone receptionist is lovely and very helpful but wholly lacking in knowledge about how the properties are outfitted. A week prior to our rental, they could not tell us whether the house had any beach chairs or other typical beach accessories.
Not one speck of toilet paper upon arrival at our house. Not even a partially used roll. I surmise the cleaners removed any remaining from prior renters. Come on Crowley, that’s ridiculous! We knew to bring our own paper supplies. Still it seems really cheap

The vacation rental couldn’t have been any better for location. However, I’m just going to point out that when you rent a property for what this place cost, you kind of expect it to be somewhat 4 or 5 star. However, the place was not clean. The floors were dirty, the A/C vent full of dust. Everything from lamps to furniture were dusty. Mold was in showers & moisture damage on walls. Pretty sure the housekeeping staff didn’t spend very much time in house. The place could use a bit of refreshing. Updates from bedspreads to paint on the walls. When an owner pays a realty company, they need to know when the ball is dropped! Overall, the week could have been more enjoyable had the unit had more attention .

Location was great and Sea Colony amenities are wonderful- tram, pools and beach. The property itself is not well maintained, there’s too much furniture/stuff which makes the space feel small and needs updating. There’s no attention to detail with cleaning: lots of dust, stained blankets, stained chair, dirt/stuff on doors and walls, missing light bulbs, broken screen on screened porch, chipped mugs, no towel rack in a bathroom, the list goes on. We would absolutely stay in Sea Colony again but not this property.

We rented through Crowley 2 weeks ago and there was a problem with the house we rented...no one's fault, just one of those things. Greg Murphy and his team went above and beyond to fix it and we had the best week at Bethany Beach. I can't recommend Crowley enough and wish I could give their excellent service more than 5 stars!

My brother worked with Greg from Crowley Realty and it was a great experience! We had to rent equipment for our mom and the company mentioned more than one time how it easy it was to work with him to coordinate.

We totally recommend the linen service; however, know that there are no dish cloths or dish towels included and none at the house either.

Here is our review of 218 Oceanview Parkway

Pros
* Modern house
* Baby gate for the win!
* Spacious for the entire family to gather, especially loved the third
floor, which allowed all of us to eat and socialize together
* Quick response when there was a problem with the half bath
toilet and elevator
* Loved the two outdoor showers in the back and hoses to clean
off after our day at the beach as well as all of our beach chairs
and toys
* Spacious garage to fit several vehicles
* While the main refrigerator in the kitchen is not very large, there is
a beverage refrigerator in the kitchen as well as a second
refrigerator/freezer in the laundry room on the second floor
* All of the televisions have cable

Cons
* Beds are not comfortable
* Cleaning seemed surface only (mirrors, sinks, showers,
countertops) and not cleaned well in between guests though -
when fans were turned on dust flew off, dust on baseboards and
window sills, chocolates and underwear under one of the bunk
beds, carpets dirty, etc.
* If you intend to use the elevator, please know it will not fit a
wheelchair and would barely fit a rollator if the person must sit on
it
* In addition, all bathrooms have a shower with the exception of the
bunk bed room, which has a tub. If you have a person who cannot
get in a tub the remaining bathrooms have a standup shower
although all have about a 3 - 4 inch lip

Incredible service! The first day we arrived an electric issue we discovered in the house, Crowley worked tooth and nail to attempt to fix the issue. When it became clear that no real solution could be made they moved us to another house no charge AND helped us move all our belongings we just unpacked. Greg and Brian are tried and true professionals.

This is a lovely house. Clean, good lighting, amazing screened in porch, plenty of bathrooms, decent mattresses, lots of convenient things. i.e. ice maker, good selection of seasonings, extra refrigerator for drinks etc., plenty of kitchen utensils.
Perfect Location to downtown Bethany. 10 out of 10!!
