The only positive comment I can leave about our seasonal rental at 3421 Pointe Creek Ct was the view. The agent, Bill Scherer, did not secure hoa approval for my support animal prior to us arriving which resulted in fights with the hoa during our stay and they even threatened us with lawyers. It was the worst rental experience and we suffered discrimination by the HOA. Mr Scherer did not do his job in submitting our paperwork on time and it took 2 ½ months to get approved. Had Covid not affected our holiday and sidetracked us, I would have taken legal action against Excel realty and the Hoa of The Pointe.

In addition, the unit was heavily soiled with stains on the carpet and the place was very dusty. My husband cleaned the filthy furncace filter to reduce the dust. I emailed Excel realty about the carpets at the start of our holiday and they chose to get them cleaned after our holiday and accuse us of making the stains.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR A RELAXING HOLIDAY.

We met with the owner, Bill, to secure a rental unit and he took $1,000 and put it into an escrow account. nowhere on the application for holding the $1,000 in escrow account was there anywhere stated there would be a fee associated with the transaction. when we went to pick up the check because we decided the deal did not go through, THEY decided to add on a professional service fee of $85 but that was inclusive of a $21.25 courtesy discount!!! make sure that when you give them money for a hold on a rental or anyting tell them not to deposit until you're approved otherwise you'll play a big run around game with them and meetings cancelled to pick up your money and you physically have to go to the office to pick it up otherwise you'll never see it I'm sure in my opinion. not a professional company at all. I would have read it at zero Stars but you had to write one to be able to post.

I am currently putting my home on the market in about another week & I just wanted to say, I haven't had any issues with Excel team, & especially Bill himself, I find him to be totally attentive to my needs & concerns that come along with selling a home, he has always answered immediately any messages I've written him with my concerns so far & I just continue to pray everything will continue to move along smoothly, selling & relocating is a very stressful thing in someone's life & so far I feel they've been going out of their way to make this as comfortable for me as possible, I'm sorry to read other's had such problems!
