Worst attorney ever. Was going through a hard divorce and she assured me they would fight for me. After almost a year of doing nothing and not returning calls I gave up and retained another lawyer. Lost a lot of money from her retainer which I was scraping by. Winds up she went to work for my ex wife’s attorney and my new lawyer filed a conflict of interest. My ex then had to get a new lawyer also, which was ok since my divorce was then quickly resolved.

The WORST experience ever with a lawyer! I’m only giving one star because I had to in order to write this. Susan best is unorganized and does not keep up with her paralegals or cases. Our whole step parent adoption process was ruin because of incompetency and laziness on susan best’s part. Her paralegal at the time Amy intentionally held up our process by not submitting documents to the court. Susan Best of course knew nothing about it and never tried to contact me. I spoke to her maybe 3 times in a whole year time frame. I could never get an itemized receipt of anything they were doing. Then after not being contacted for weeks I call to find out Amy no longer works there. A new paralegal Kathy starts and can’t even give Susan the correct zoom log in for our very important court date with the judge to finalize everything. They held up the judge until they could get it right only for her new paralegal to not submit the paperwork to the correct place. I had to call her a month later to find out what was taking so long and the response I got was She didn’t submit it right but “At least I didn’t lie to you”. If you’re broke I get why you might want to come here but remember you get what you pay for. Save yourself the headache and heartache and stay away from this place!

Susan is a wonderful attorney. She is well versed on the family law issues that arise during and post divorce. Ms. Best and her staff have been amazing, through some very difficult (to say the least) battles which had been presented. They are always attentive and eager to answer all of my many many questions. No doubt "THE BEST"

Me. Best and Amy Jones are by far in my opinion the best team in Lakeland. I went in to file for divorce and they help me get connected to the right people to help me pay for my divorce. I would recommend them to any and all people going through any type of family law.

Susan did not handle our case properly we are out of $3500 and she did nothing for us! We waiting almost a year for her to do something with our case. We ended up having to fire her from our case. I would not recommend her to anyone!!!!
