Carol Lawrence seems like a nice little old lady at first but is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She’s sugar when she’s getting what she wants but once you are no longer doing so, she turns her “nice personality “ off and is all business and tries tactics to strong arm you for money that should be rightfully yours. Also noticed that once you sign contract for purchase she becomes “too busy” to talk most days. would stay clear of this real estate agent if you want a caring and professional agent.

Having dealt with many real estate agents, I can confirm what others have said many times, they run the gamut from great to terrible. Fernando Martinez is on the great end of the scale.

At the suggestion of a friend I tried an open house on Zillow. (It didn't work out very well due to Zillow's inability to keep up with the demand to update, but that's a story for another time.).

Several agents called me, but only one could tell me things about my property someone could only know by doing some investigate work and told me a price they could get me which was above (by 15k, no less!) the price I was asking.

Impressed, but cautious, I listed with him. Within a week he got me several offers 8-10k above what he had promised. And he handled everything calmly and efficiently which was of great comfort to
me as I was 1000 miles away. A job well done.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JIM LAWRENCE! Made me and my kids live in a filthy house, unsanitary, duct tape on carpets, NEVER did repairs as promised. Raised the rent on us and then kept our security deposit even though we cleaned the house and did not damage it. Jim Lawrence has a reputation of not being a good landlord. We paid our rent on time for over 3 years. Now he is lying and saying we were not good tenants. We had medical conditions that developed after living in his rental such as my son getting asthma from filthy carpets, mold, and dirty ac ductwork. Left us without AC for 2 weeks in the hot summer. DO NOT RENT FROM JIM LAWRENCE!
