Requested they look into possibility of displaying the American flag in a disrespectful fashion on Bahama St. No response and clearly remains an unaddressed issue. Apparently no employee has served under, defended or buried anyone beneath the colors. If you’re afraid to approach the problem I’ll go with you.

I permit with Deltona frequently as an employee for a roofing contractor. Very quick and simple permit process for over the counter. I do wish they gave as much attention to their online platform as they provide in person. Online permits take 3 weeks or more, and no one answers the phones, everything goes to voicemail. So I am forced to permit in person if we want fast service. I dont mind going though, as I'm also a Deltona resident and the staff is so pleasant and helpful.

Deltona's building department is a joke. Over the years I have always dreaded when I needed to pull a permit here. I agree with the others comments......most of the employees there are all rude. They just sit there behind the glass windows and look at you like you are bothering them. It seems everybody who walks through the door is a bother to them. Cathy HATES dealing with people and that is quite obvious. I hear other customers asking questions and are talked down to like they are idiots. Time to get rid of the miserable employees and get people who don't hate customer service. It also seems they have no idea what they are even doing. Very unorganized. I deal with a lot of municipalities and this is one I do not care for, at all. Bad upper management, perhaps it's time to retire!

So my neighbor tree fell on the powerline during the storm and the whole grid of neighbors was without power, phones, landlines for several days. Code Enforcement will not enforce him to clean up the trees or all other undergrowth and large vines growing up thelarge oak tree in the yard. Duke Energy will not cut the tree far back enough from around the transformer and powerlines, therefore ever hurricane we are without power. Know these people will not even clean up all the hurricane debris that has fallen in their yard. Who can enforce this

Let me start by saying ... THANK YOU to Nate and Kyle for being so wonderful during my visit. I tried to get some answers regarding a home project and they went above and beyond to provide the most excellent experience possible. It was raining really hard and I first did not know where to go but was pointed in the right direction by Ms. Y. Gonzalez. Everyone was attentive and kind. Thank you all again for all your help!

Only gave one star because I had to in order to write a review. If your yard is over grown it's okay with Code Enforcement. They told me they could not enforce my neighbor to clean up his back yard. It looks like a jungle, snakes comes from the overgrown areas into my back yard and travel around. I Iive around a couple of neighbors that do not clean up their yards. Backyards are over grown but Code Enforcement is no help to me.

I work all over the state without any problems. But for some reason I always have a problem here. Last time they had a woman who had to call and asm about every little thing. Couldn't figure out why the person she was calling wasn't the one at the window

I’ve dealt with the permitting department for several home improvements. I have never been treated rudely and have found them most helpful.
