Hace mas de 2 años que no se cambia ni limpia las luces de la calle de 1900 y 2000 Hollywood blvd
Una verguenza que no se haga en un lugar tan transitado por carros y peatones.
Pero a la hora de cobrar impuestos estan rapidos.
No es tan caro poner lamparas nuevas, en reemplazo a las quemadas desde hace mucho tiempo

This is a horrible City Hall to deal with. The staff members are incredibly rude and unprofessional. A water service cannot be disconnected, so good luck if you rent of sale your house, you may end up in deep debt. As September 2024, the city of Hollywood politicians believe they have to control the citizens business and pressure them to squeeze their money. The customer service in person and over the phone is deplorable. Probably the worst City Hall in South Florida.

The city of Hollywood is now ticketing cars in the residential neighborhoods if they are an inch on the sidewalk…problem is, sidewalks were put in and the swale’s are not wide enough. Hollywood KNEW THIS when sidewalks were created. No problem for the last few years, now all of a sudden, $45 tickets are being issued. No warning…..This is a residential area so the residents are now being taxed for parking in front of their own home. Way to go Hollywood ?

What a terrible experience we had. We did a two bathrooms remodeling in a condo. The whole process took almost two months because of the permit process. A lot of miscommunication among them, very inefficient. No matter what time you call them they put you at least 30min on hold. When you call them and ask an information that they don't know they just hang up.

Life is too short to hate any thing but I hate bureaucracy!

I called them last week to stop my utility service since you can do it BY PHONE ONLY. After 20 minutes of waiting the lady picked up the phone and told me I just need to send an email that I want to stop the service. So I sent the email right away and still waiting for news. Didn’t get any confirmation email,anything about the deposit I payed, nobody asked me for an adress where to send my deposit, nothing at all. Typical institution for Florida. They can take your money right away but often forget to do their job. I guess I’m waiting for another bill now
