Very Happy Tenant Thusfar! We are new with Castro Realty & Property Management. We found the PERFECT cute, bungalow style block home and that's when we found Marguerite with Castro. My first impression was interesting and she was helpful and understanding of our needs. I think she felt it, too, that this home was a perfect fit from what I described to her and for the type of tenants/people we were. We are the type of people that do what we say and say what we do. Also, we were looking for the type of property manager or owner that wanted good people, not just a number, who would be willing to properly maintain the place and take care of it as it were our own while looking after all aspects to get the most longevity out of the property, too. When you find a good relationship, such as this, where the property manager does what they're supposed to (respond and repair things in a timely manor) and the tenants do what they're supposed to (pay the rent on time and maintain the property properly), it becomes a perfect balance. We have found that perfect balance with Marguerite and Castro Realty and Property Management. If you do what you're supposed to, pay rent on time and take care of your part of renting the place, everything goes smoothly.

When we moved in, sure, the place needed cleaning that fit OUR Standards; but I don't mind cleaning it the way I want the place to be cleaned - DEEP CLEANED. Also, we noticed that some things needed a little attention and tlc, which we didn't mind offering because we are the new care-takers and it's our job to take notice of things. We cleaned the tracking of the sliding glass door and windows and then greased up the tracks, cleaned up the washing machine & dryer, swept & cleaned out the garage and gave the wooden floors some attention and we're just fixing minor things because that's what we would do if it were our own - no house is perfect and not every property manager catches every thing that needs just a little attention and that's fine because they're not living in it and using all of the things the home has to offer. That's our job as tenants to use the items in the home and then let the property mgmt know if there's a problem. We think it's really simple; but you see, we did not come from a place where things were maintained properly. We came from a large apartment complex and they fix it just enough to keep you quiet. We needed to get into a decent, healthy-operating-condition, stand-alone block home rental after having rented in a multi-unit facility before that didn't handle most issues we had in the place like: ceiling leaks and mold, stomping & constantly dropping things upstairs at all hours of the night, there were also many difficulties with so many people in a small area, dog poop everywhere, fleas galore, trash overflowing, loud vehicles and people at all hours of the day and night, and much more. After going through all that, it really makes people like us sincerely appreciate people like Marguerite and Castro Realty & Property Management because we are not just a number.

It really has been a pleasure dealing with this company and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who does what they're supposed to do as a renter! They will take care of you and make you feel like you matter, they care and you become like FAMILY! It's THAT Simple. <3 I hope we have a long life of renting with Castro Realty and Property Management; but if we don't, it will most likely be because we end up Purchasing a home through Castro Realty or if we happen to move out of the area. Otherwise, we'll most likely be here for a long, long time. Thank you, Marguerite for treating us so well and making us feel like Family!

We contacted Castro Realty after owning a home for 18 years and having no idea where to begin with renting. Marguerite was super helpful right from the start. She helped us through the stress of our house sale not initially going through , and went above and beyond to help us secure our beautiful rental. We love living here! Marguerite is wonderful to work with, really cares about people, and is just plain nice! Houses sometimes need repairs, and when we had something that needed repair, it was handled immediately. Marguerite contacts us right away , states her plan, and things are cared for the same day or next day !! The contractors that work for the Castro Family are as nice as they are. It’s a big deal trusting a Realty company with finding your home , and trusting someone to take care of things for your family. We would absolutely recommend other families to the Castro Realty Team. You can count on Marguerite, and you will be very happy. We hope to stay in this rental for awhile, but if we ever need to move, we will look no further than Marguerite & Castro Realty. We began our relationship with Castro and with Marguerite quite by accident over 5 years ago. We were moving to the area from about 3 hours away. We had an appointment to view a house to rent and spent hours waiting for the realtor to show up and after numerous phone calls were told the realtor had rented the house and gone on vacation. Frustrated and in tears I started calling every realtor in the area sharing about the 3 hour drive and the callous treatment of the first realtor. Marguerite made arrangements for us to view 5 houses the next day. She had spent about an hour talking with me on the phone and told me up front that she thought she had just the house we were looking for but wanted us to be able to choose. She knew exactly which house we wanted and within 2 days we had passed our background checks and were picking up the keys. The last 5 years were not without problems but Marguerite was able to help us through the untenable situation of a landlord gone bankrupt and when we were shorted on a withdrawal from the bank they worked with us until the next payday while the bank researched and found their error. Our rent is paid early and in many cases repairs are handled the next day. I have referred dozens of families to Castro over the years and would definitely continue to do so. We have a lot of respect for Marguerite and the whole Castro team.

We moved to Florida from Texas 4 months ago. We found Castro Realty and Property Management through searching for a rental house. I found the house on Zillow and immediately contacted Marguerite via email and requested updated pics of the property. Marguerite was very helpful in sending updated pics and securing the property for us so that when we arrived in Florida we could immediately move in. When we moved into the house I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the house- but it wasn't anything that a few hours and some elbow grease has not taken care of. I made sure to document it on my move inspection sheet am not upset about it since Castro is a property management company not a cleaning company. Anyway, I have called Marguerite several times to ask her about hurricane precautions, lawn care company recommendations (Citrus Lawn N' Order is awesome), and other minor issues. Marguerite has always been polite and helpful and is always available. I recommend Castro Realty to anyone looking to rent.

I rented a house through Castro Realty in June of 2017 with the help of Marguerite Budnick. She was at all times prompt, professional and extremely courteous. The interior was freshly painted and extremely clean when I moved in. I have requested repairs a few times and my requests were immediately resolved. I would definitely recommend Castro Realty and especially Marguerite Budnick.

If I could I would rate a zero star! When we first moved in the house was filthy dirt on counters, carpets not cleaned, there were fleas from previous tenant. Margarette basically called my wife and I liars that it was clean we have before pics to verify. Now for a month we have been dealing with an A.C. issue that has not been fixed. John Castro and Margarette have both been extremely rude to the point of helling, cursing, and hanging up on me. We have had nothing but issue after issue with this company the most unprofessional people I have ever delt with.

I have nothing but kind word's to say about this family owned and operated business. Marguerite has gone above and beyond to help us at our times of need. In the past 5 years of having them as a property management, I have come to think of them as extended family. Thank goodness there are still great people like them around. Unreal. Called 3x and left 2 voicemails… we were looking for a property manager for an investment property, and they never even bothered to call back! I just can’t even imagine a prospective tenant that wanted to rent a property from them - would they call THEM back? Probably not!
