I honestly don’t think I have enough amazing words to express how grateful I am to have had MeLissa as my realtor. I only wish I’d met her and chosen her first. Instead I had a horrible experience with a company that acted unethically and illegally and I was about to lose my home. It sat on the market for 4 months while my first realtor never even showed it. And this was during the crazy hot selling market. And that first person refused to show my house even with people sitting outside for an hour trying to see it. And my house was a beautiful 6 bedroom home on 5 acres with an inground pool. There’s no reason not to show it. And yet that company held me to a 6 month contract for no discernible reason. They just kept pushing me to keep dropping the original price THEY set. My home value was hemorrhaging and I had to wait out the contract watching my life’s investment dwindle by thousands weekly because by then the rates went up and the market slowed. Over 240 thousand dollars my house value dropped waiting for the contract to end and I’ll never know why they wouldn’t show it besides that first realtor had moved over an hour away. And why not let me out if you don’t want to show it?

I found MeLissa by looking up the top selling agents in the area. As soon as I was free to chose another agency I interviewed her and realized how kind she was and also how sincere. But I had no idea then just how much she would and did help me.

It wasn’t just her knowledge or that I immediately had continued showings for my house. Back to back showings of people wanting to see my home. It was a miracle!! Oh and one more thing MeLissa brings to the table is her network of colleagues and good honest people. And she’s not pushing anything on you. Not ever. She’s not getting some deal lining her pockets on the side insisting you put in new cabinets or floors. If I said hey I need a great yard or pool person or I need to do an estate sale etc… I asked and she gave me choices of fabulous people. Not once did she try to influence my choices either. She just knows all the best people because she’s honest and hard working and is the top selling agent for a reason. Her experience. And she herself is honest.

And maybe even more importantly than her kindness her opinion was spot on every time. And that’s what an amazing realtor brings you. Her experience. Her expertise. Her knowing the market in her area. We trust doctors and lawyers for a professional opinion and we need to do the same with our realtors who are helping you with your biggest investment and your family home. A good one can make or break you as I learned. An amazing person like MeLissa …. I will never forget. She saved me. She cared for me and helped me at my lowest point in my life.

It’s Christmas today and I got to spend it with my grandchildren because she sold my home and I could move to be near them. I truly don’t have the words. I am forever grateful to her.
