About a month or so ago, we sold property in Florida and somehow got stuck with this title company to do the closing (buyer chose this title company). We had nothing but problems right from the start. We have used many title companies before but never have we encountered such lack of organization or unprofessionalism like Title Alliance Professionals of Florida.

There was so much back and forth and lack of knowledge on their end. Something that should have been so easy was made so difficult and caused so much stress! Clearly there is a lack of experience when it comes to closing deals. The story changed every day! Constantly asking us for information a bit at a time rather than asking for everything that was required all at once so we could speed up the process. At times, even asking for documents that weren’t required. A waste of time on our end!

We dealt with Maria and although she seemed pleasant enough, the experience and knowledge just wasn’t there. It was as if this was her first closing.

On the day of closing (which was done via zoom), we had all of our necessary documents required ready (the ones they asked us to have ready for verification). They didn’t even ask for them! We had to remind them about the documents. They also had someone there to check passports (via zoom) etc, who was working from home, and all we could see was them sitting on their couch. Every now and then they would would mute their mic and have a conversation with someone else in the room next to them. We should have had their undivided attention! Keep in mind, we were paying for this service (btw- they told us on Friday it would be x number of dollars to have our documents verified and on the Monday, the price changed!) Why? Because apparently there were 4 owners selling the condo, and while sitting on her comfortable couch, 4 passports would have to be verified, so it would cost more. Fact: there were 4 owners selling right from the start! They knew this! They also wanted all 4 of us to log into the zoom meeting. Another waste of time since that was unnecessary. Our meeting also started a half hour late because they apparently weren’t ready. They had weeks to get all of their paperwork ready! It was never ending!

These are just a couple of examples. We could go on and on about the incompetence we experienced from start to finish. It was such an unpleasant and frustrating experience. Nothing went smoothly! Absolutely ridiculous!

Do yourself a favour, and save yourself a lot of stress- there are so many title companies in south Florida that you can use. The Title Alliance Professionals of Florida is definitely not one of them! Perhaps they need to remove Professionals from their name.

Had my first closing with Title Alliance Professionals and as a lender I could not have asked for more. It has been a hectic few months in this business and like many other closings, this was a super rush, down to the wire, after hours close and Title Alliance Professionals handled everything perfectly. They were quick, responsive and made sure everyone was happy at the end of the process. Even when a last second error was found in the loan documents, they took it on in stride. I couldn't recommend Adriana Andali and her team more, they were great.

We did our closing with Adriana, which was a delight. Had a minor hiccup on the road after closing and unfortunately had to deal with an incredibly rude woman named Susan. Wow! Horrible attitude, would not listen, would not help but instead was on "attacking mode" the entire time for no reason. Impossible to have a conversation with her. So disappointing. Never been treated so badly by a title company before. My lender warned me about her bc he had a bad experience with her as well. He was right.
