I had the WORST experience ever with Arcadia. The owner Imelda is very unprofessional and extremely rude. The only thing I can say is when your ready for properties within your preference she will send as many as you need to review in a timely manner. As well as putting in offers and meeting you for the money to deposit. I worked with her from February to April with no ending comfort in a home. Everything else took extremely long to get in contact with agent or owner to follow up, providing necessary information or concerns you may have. She is money hungry and provides terrible realtor professionalism. A lot of information regarding most of the properties I had to find out on my own. Which resulted in the process being delayed because she was working backwards. I deposited money into an escrow account with her over $2,000 and had to argue with her to cancel her services in assisting me and return my money back to my significant other and I. She was trying to hold some of the money from the return in excuse of the owner who we tried to lease with. But with my common sense I believe she was trying to hold the funds for herself because it would be illegal for the owner to have done so. To sum things up it was basically like a job to get in contact and argue with the lady and her assistant. She was very suspicious and unsure of everything and because it was a family friend who referred me I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Never going with my gut instinct! She was a waste of my time and in the end we receive all of our money. I was so afraid we wouldn't because I heard stories and read reviews that she was using the money to pay back other refunds she owed. I would not recommend a SOUL to work with this company at ALL. You will regret it if she doesn't change the way she does business.

This company is HORRIBLE and so unprofessional do not waste your time! They re-posted a listing from another realty company like it was theirs and showed us a property that my husband and I were very interested in, located in Ft. Lauderdale. The realtor lied and told us there was no dog restrictions on breed or size (we have a pitbull) so we jumped at the chance to get an offer in. They had us come back to the office directly after viewing and we were told to give the security deposit with the tentative lease submitted to hold the house. This was Saturday and they told us there would be an answer on Monday. Our security deposit was cashed on Monday morning and we're now going on Wednesday now with NO ANSWER! After perpetually calling Imelda she tells me to maybe call the other realtor myself and push the offer because it worked for another one of her tenants. I asked her isn't that YOUR job as the realtor? Why would I do all the work to close the deal just for you to make the money This company is ridiculous! Oh, and after I contacted the other realtor she tells me there is MULTIPLE offers on this property for the owner to view (never mentioned) and also that their is a breed restriction along with a $250 pet deposit and $250 extra security as well! NO ONE mentioned this to me when I viewed the property they told me everything was A-OKAY per the owner. If I had known this I would have went on my way and kept looking instead of wasting almost a week of my time waiting for nothing! They just want to get your money into their account as fast as possible and then screw you over and offer other "potential properties" to view if you don't get accepted. Big ass money scheme if you ask me! I wish I would have seen the other persons review before I dealt with them instead of looking them up after 4 days of frustration! RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!

Also, I forgot to mention that they refused to give my deposit back. They told me they would just hold it so I could look at other properties and I told them i did not trust them for any further transactions. After day 4 of no response and no respect, my husband physically went to their office and demanded they give him his money right then and there. He would not leave without our money and thankfully it worked!

Recently found myself in a very particular bind, having only 15 days to move. After seeing a listing that I liked, I contacted Imelda Gonzalez at Arcadia Realty, LLC. She and her staff were relentless in ensuring that myself and my roommates found a place. They handled us with great care, and were successful in finding us an absolutely amazing new home in a very short time. I recommend them with two thumbs up!!!

We used Arcadia tofind a rental home in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. My wife called and set appointments to see 3 different properties the first being at 5pm. Well noone showed up until after 5:20 with no courtesy call to say they were running late. I am in the neighborhood so I also showed up. We go in and the agent basically opened the front door and waited there until we were done looking at it by ourselves. My wife proceeded to see the other two houses without me. The agent explained to my wife that she would need a check to show the owners we were serious. No problem I gave her a check in the morning figuring the check would not be deposited unless a contract was agreed upon and signed. I have had rental units for over 10 years and never have I deposited a prospective tenants money until a contract was agreed upon. Not the story with this company. They must have went to the bank 10 seconds later. As we waited for the owner to say yes or no on our offer we ended up resigning at our current location.I try to pay the rent and the check would not clear. Not a happy camper I call Arcadia to find out what the deal is. They explain that it would be 7 business days before I can get the money back because they deposited it. So now I have a $219 late charge at my current place as well as not being able to pay any other monthly bill because I have to make a partial payment to my current place.Oh did I mention that Imelda initially said the check could be picked up in 3 days not 7? Ok now I have waited 7 days, with my bills piling up because of this poor way to do business. My wife goes in to pick the check up and instead of putting my name on the check which you'd think I wrote the initial check so the funds would be written to me, nope not this company. I think that they intentionally mispelled my wife's name so it will be another few days before cutting a new check. You would think they would at least look at the paperwork and get the name spelled right but again this company has failed on every level. It is really sad because I am in contact with 5-10 people every day that could have been potential referrals. They made no effort to rectify the situation and will not got my consideration in any future endeavors. Be very careful before choosing this company!!!

This company owes $8000 dollars to my client !!!! they dont want to return the money, we had to sue them !!! they are showing in internet property located in 1438 NW 97 St MIAMI, FL 33147 in price $40 000 and they use it to get investors attention and then steal the money of people. Get away dont do business with them , the worst experience I ever had in my life as a person and realtor was trying to do business with Matthius Quidato and Imelda , she is a RAT !!!!!

I have been doing real estate for 14 years and never NEVER have ever had such a bad experience as with Arcadia Realty and Imelda Gonzalez. Very unprofessional and they owe my client $3000. He tried to collect and she gave him the roundabout. This woman shouldn't have a real estate license and I'll file a complaint so that she can't practice real estate!!

Please excuse any profanity that may slip as I am typing this but i am very upset! I hate that I have to even give these people 1 star! Do not and I repeat do not do any business with these CROOKS!!! They go on Craigslist and other sites and post these nice listings only to draw you in. They send you lots and lots of properties for you to view and choose from, then her assistant "Matt" who comes off as this nice young man spends hours driving you around to look at different places as if they really care about getting you in a home. When you do see something that you like they ask for first last and security as well as an application fee as if they are sure to get in contact with the property owners and they want to rush the deal by showing the owners younare serious. They literally make you believe that this a secure deal and you will get the place no doubt about it. Well once you give them the money you never hear from them again! It went from them constantly calling us to view listings before we gave them any money, to us constantly trying to get in contact with them about the property we've given them thousands of dollars for! Everytime you see a listing that you like They claim how much they can't get in contact with the owner of the property and how they aren't returning calls. Now after all the run around we get sick and tired and ask for our refund of $4425! They told us to wait 5-7 business days and on the 8th day when I go to the office to collect it they still have no check and let me know it will be there the next day. Next day comes and they provide me with this check that ends up being a bad check that bounces because they have no money in their account ! It's sad that in this hard time this stupid ass woman thinks it's ok to play around with people hard earned money ! But I will be taking this witch straight to court and I will call the news and I will do everything in my power to get this hole in the wall business closed !

My company has done many great closings with Arcadia Realty. If there was a last minute situation that came up, they are quick thinking and ready to solve it. I have sent many of my friends there and they have had the same great results.
