Marilyn, demonstrates professionalism through her timely responses and genuine dedication to helping others, which is evident in her assistance and a hallmark of excellence in her position.
This is the first property management, that I've experienced that will go above and beyond for their tenants. I'm so blessed and grateful, that I'm renting with The Mendes Company, all thanks to Marilyn. I will definitely refer my family and friends to use this property management.

Everything was great from start to finish. They responded to maintenance requests immediately. They responded to emails immediately (during business hours). I have rented from a lot of property managers in SD and I’d definitely rent from them again. The staff was also really nice, extra bonus!

I just don’t understand why anyone would use this company to list rentals. My partner and I were trying to look at a place but don’t feel comfortable giving out both our driver’s license and social security number info. I noticed that the place we were looking at has been steadily reducing its price despite it being in a great location. Asking for highly sensitive information just to view a place gives the perception that it’s a scam and is hurting the pocketbook of whoever lists with this company. I get that the company is taking precautions but it just seems like a bad business practice to me.

I just wanted to add that I’ve been working with companies that ask for an ID but asking for a SS# seems scammy.

Eddie V, and all the staff over at the Mendes Company are a group of professionals who can be counted on to take care of both your property and your tenants. They are people who constantly raising the bar and setting what a 5 star company should be.

Feeling a bit scammed here. We HAD to provide our social to view a property which we did not feel comfortable with. We did the viewing (solo might I add because they text you a code only, no face no person to talk to) we PAID $80.00 to apply. We have tried to reach out via phone (no one EVER picks up) via email (only to get the same generic reply of "to schedule a viewing click here") no one actually reads the emails and you cant get thru via phone. Is this company even legit? Same listings everywhere, they stay up for a long time and no one replies.

I have never worked with a property management company as organized and efficient as the Mendez company. Whether it was a simple question or a maintenance request, they are always on it. I now know that choosing the right property management team, can drastically change your rental experience. Save yourself the headache and go with the Mendez company. We all hope to own someday, until then..... go with a company who actually cares and support their renters needs. I truly cannot express how different working with this team has been.
