My mother was admitted to Lely Palms last week for rehab and skilled nursing. The rooms and halls are super clean. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. There were no attitudes like those I experienced at a similar type of healthcare facility last year. Parking is easy and visitations are allowed anytime. Praying that mom continues to do well there and grows stronger.

Horrible experience. Living conditions beyond sub standard. Facilities need a total overhaul. My mom was sent there following a hip replacement. Due to the conditions and care I removed her after a week. It was more detrimental to her health than helpful. I would never allow her back there and would highly suggest that anyone considering look elsewhere. My mother was released without any of her medications. Went back to get them and given no paperwork stating what they had been giving her … Found out she was not receiving her Alzheimer’s medication or the antibiotics for her UTI and is now back in the hospital be treated.

i was just discharged from this rehab on 2 days ago . I was there for over a month. It was horrible and would never recommend. The only shining light there is the Therapy Team. Janet and Justin are the absolute best. And on my discharge I was given prescriptions and needed medical equipment for my home. My oxygen is still not here. All my prescriptions were wrote wrong and after 2 days my insulin was finally received it was not called in with needles. No one answered when called. And when finally getting to Eileen she was rude and said to me what do I expect her to do. I had transportation home which is covered by insurance. they arranged transportation due to being in wheelchair, once locked in i s told he needed 100 dollars to be dropped off.Most of nursing aides are horrible taking a hour to answer call lights. one aide got the b d controller stuck under bed leaving me trapped on bed with bed off floor and feet in air and head down at 5am and said i would have to wait for maintenance to con at 8 am! I had to call my husband to drive 30 minutes to help me to he janitor helped me. and this isn’t half of it, including medication issue's with wrong pill given.

The facilities are dated and it is very depressing looking. The carpet needs to be replaced, the pool needs new lounge chairs, the game room is literally falling apart, etc. Everyone used to talk about the food being good and I agreed that it was but even that has gone DOWNHILL over the past 6 months. I know my grandmother is happy with her apartment and the renovations done on the apartment are really nice. I was hoping that HQ would be updating the common spaces but clearly that is not the plan. We are now researching other places to move her because the cons are beginning to outweigh the pros. Some of the employees that have been there for awhile are really nice, but HQ needs to step-up their commitment to this place, this is not their fault.

Called in worried about my mom and the front desk woman working the night shift was so cruel and gave me such unnecessary attitude. I cried my eyes out after the phone call. If that's how they're treating me, mom's daughter, I dread to think how mom's getting treated by the staff there during the night shift especially. Unprofessional, unkind, and NOT the kind of attitude I'd expect from a place intended to care for those recovering from illness or who are more elderly and living there out of necessity. It's unacceptable and it's NOT the quality care the website promises to provide.

I would never recommend anybody's to put their love one in this facility. They're so negligent they treat the patient very bad they leave them with with the poop and the urine. The nurses don't have any compassion for them. I left my mom one night and the next day I took her out of there immediately. The only thing that was good was the gentleman from therapy. He's amazing and he deserves to be in a better working place because that place is not worth having somebody so good. The sheets had urine from the from the client before the floor was dirty with food from the person before, and the call button was not working this place was super disgusting dirty everything broken everything old windows, broken, moldy stuff and the food was awful no towels no soap. No nothing. I don't know how this place is still working or has any service or any recuperation supposed to help anybody when it's so bad.
