This is my family’s second time staying at a Casa de Balboa property. The bay view never disappoints and the sunrises are truly spectacular. A quick walk to the beach (2 blocks) to enjoy the pier area for donuts, shops and a Sunday farmer’s market.
I always appreciate how responsive Pam is and she always makes sure everything is taken care of. We arrived to find the house decorated for the season, and appreciate the outstanding amount of amenities and how well kept these properties truly are. These are just a few of the many reasons we keep coming back. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Casa de Balboa. The property was in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bike rental, yet on a very quiet street. The property is meticulously maintained. Appliances are comparable to what you would have at home. Communications with the property manager were very prompt, and all our questions were answered very quickly. We will definitely look to rent this property on our next visit to Newport Beach.

We absolutely love this place. We will be back in September and we are already planning for 2025. Perfect location, wonderful hosts, and very clean. We love the rooftop deck. Right across the street from my most favorite beach!

Casa de Balboa was a perfect place for a beachy Southern California stay. The house is clean with all the amenities you could ever need. The patio offers a nice view and great place to relax. And you're within walking distance of all the best in Newport Beach. 10/10 would stay again.

The upper unit that we rented was fantastic, everything inside was new and clean, very comfortable and very spacious. We couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations, especially the beach accessories that came with the rental. When we return to Newport Beach we will definitely be checking availability for this unit again.

Discovered these once Bay Shores shut down to become a glamour house.
It’s hard to find quaint places to stay in Newport nowadays. But these units are just that. Super clean, equipped, and updated. Location is perfect for everything to be walkable. And the craftsmanship is on point. Makes it feel like your own house at the beach.
One of the last places that is reasonably priced too. Our family goes here 3-4 times a year and love it.

We had a wonderful experience renting from Casa de Balboa Vacation Rentals. We stayed in Casita 216B Upper. It was a beautiful unit and nicely decorated. It was perfect for our family of 3. I would definitely rent from Casa de Balboa again if returning to Newport Beach.

Perfection! We were in #227, 2 br/2bath. Perfect location with bay beach just steps across the street and Newport Beach/pier a short walk across the main street, Balboa Blvd just a block away. Beautifully kept and maintained house with all the comforts of home. Most comfortable luxurious beds like sleeping on a cloud. Awesome patio with bay views, table & chairs, grill and outdoor heater. Beautiful fenced back & side yard with lovely landscaping. Many, many amenities including beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, sand toys, washer/dryer. Attached garage parking for one car. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you could ever need including many spices, cooking oils, coffee filters for coffee maker and much more! Many restaurants within walking distance. Mama D’s Italian is an absolute MUST! Just get there right at 4 when it opens. Best Italian food and service we’ve ever had!! Bike rentals right around the corner. Kayak & paddleboard rentals delivered right to the bay beach across the street. Pam the host is stellar! Always available for anything you might need, always responsive. She knows how to run this rental business! Absolutely LOVED staying here and will definitely be back again!
