On this site I paid 65$ and had the best night of my year when I gave her the painting. I forgot to tell her I got it at auction.

This family-friendly company treated me like a family member. I wasn’t prepared well for pickup my items when I was there on 10-18-2024. They provided their own straps and loaded the items in my car and one large chest on top of my car which I even don’t know how to do it. This not only relieved my worries but also increased my confidence in the next auction.

Waste of time. Doug came out to our house and evaluated the items. Required us to bring our items for auction all the way to Morro Bay instead of having the auction at our home. He told us that photos take max 2 weeks and auction would be live and take 10 days from posting. We have now been 2 months out since we gave Slo cal estate our belongings and after checking with them each week.. and their same answer “still taking photos”. They have now advised us they have been throwing items away that were not fit to be in auction or items were not working without consulting us or contacting us. Each time we called and texted Doug at slo cal estate.. he never informed us of anything other then “we’re still taking photos”
Our last conversation was not pleasing because he was ignoring our text messages and then had the urge to tell us after my spouse got ahold of him that they’ve been throwing away our belongings without approval. And then wanted us to wait another month for auction. Would not recommend this auction company. Now we have to pick up whatever they didn’t throw away (steal possibly) and use another company.
