DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These people are straight up scammers. I tried booking a flight four months ago and I got a message saying it was unable to process. I even called to make sure it was not processed as I was going to get the ticket elsewhere. Two days later lo and behold I was charged for said “ticket”. I’ve called, with no exaggeration, six seperate times and all six times I’ve been told different info, and everyone I spoke to (aside from the supervisor) refused to provide any email confirmation about what we had spoken on the phone. The first said he was processing my refund and to be on the look out for it within the next 7-10 business days. After 7-10 business days, I called again and Shane told me that it was still being processed and to wait another 7-10 days. After that I spoke to an extremely rude and unprofessional Arianna who ended up hanging up on me. Then there was Clive who informed me that no refund was being processed and to call the airline. Then I spoke to a “supervisor” named William who finally sent me a confirmation email on my refund, told me to wait another 10 business days for my refund to kick in. 10 days later, nothing. Called again to ask about the refund and was told to wait until July 10th, two entire months since I was robbed from this “company”, to get my refund. Once that date rolled around and got no refund, I decided not to deal with these incompetent scamming clowns anymore and go straight to my bank to fight the charge. All that just to be refunded HALF!!! DO NO USE THESE SCAMMERS THEY WILL QUITE LITERALLY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!

Well, decide by your own if its scam or not.I found the cheapest ticket to india from them for about $1400 CAD. I booked the ticket but before I could receive the confirmation I called my Bank institution and they said the “Payment” was denied by airline. I was stunned how’s it possible, but before i could say anything they said “ $1800” was tried to takeout” from bank account by them. I immediately Suspended my credit account.
$1400 was actual price but they tried 1800$.
So, please be careful guys.

I bought tickets for my parents (international flight 1,900$) just before the pandemic hit (01/2020). Paid them a fee (150$) twice to keep my credit with the airline (12/20 - 12/21). My parents finally decide to fly, I give them a call and they ask for additional fees (1,600$) to rebook the new tickets. I contact the airline (turkish airlnes) and they issue a refund to them. I give them a call back and they pretend this never happen and that they don't have my money. Did I mention it is an Indian sweatshop with employees using fake American full names?

BBB hopefully will take care of them. SCAM SCAM SCAM

The worst company ever!!! I’m so sorry that some folks here had the same experience with me.

The reason for my one star review is their BAD customer services from the following departments:

Declined Credit Card Department: Day 1, I had 8 phone calls at least for my tickets $3200. My credit limit is $3300 which is fine. I was charged of $3500 including a soft charge. They asked me for increasing my credit limit, making no sense here. Frustrated!

Seat Assignment Department: Day 2, had a phone call they wanted to sell seat selection of $59 along with a warning that you will be assigned random seats if not buying the offer. Angrily clarify with them about online check-in...

Customer Service Department: Day 2, 3 follow-up, here at Explore Trip customers have to contact the bank to remove a pending transactions as they advised and gave me a merchant authorization code. I never done this with other agencies.

Billings Department: Day 4, 5, I had a posted transaction of the correct amount and a pending transaction of the wrong amount, resulting in the fact that I was using over my credit limit... Sent them emails but have no responses as of today.

I hope my comments here help you somehow if you would like to book trip/ air lines tickets through Explore Trip.

AVOID THESE CROOKS. Stealing money from me and the airline. Had to cancel due to a family emergency in February 2020, and they refused to send the cancellation request to the airline. I had to do all the work that they were supposed to do as the travel agent. Airline approved the cancellation with cancellation fee but said I would get a refund on the difference. It’s now May 2020 and still no refund. Reported to the BBB so that no one else will get scammed by these con artists! They use your credit card with another ticket consolidator, so they’re clearly in it together. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this company if you don’t want to have problems with your tickets. First when I was checking out the total amount that I was supposed to pay was $651 with all fees and charges, when I agreed and pushed the button “continue” my credit card was charged $785. When I called the customer service the guy on the phone refused to explain correctly the difference and was very rude. The second problem was that the confirmation number for flight was wrong and I spent 4 hours the day before the flight to receive the right confirmation number. This experience was AWFUL. Would not advise anyone

DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY! They are the worst customer service representatives I have ever come across, to the point of being verbally abusive. I had a flight cancelled this summer by the airline and according to EU passenger rights law, the airline must refund the money. The airline claims they refunded the money to ExploreTrip (the service through which I purchased the ticket) and ExploreTrip claims they have not received the money from the airline. They do not return emails in a timely manner, if at all. They are clearly withholding my refund from the airline. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, DO NOT USE EXPLORETRIP. They should be shut down.

STAY AWAY!!! Why oh why did I not look on google reviews first? Terrible terrible experience. Booked a trip - paid - got an email with the details. Checked the details and right away I saw that the trip from Vancouver to Panama City was not the same flights as I had booked (different times). I called them within an hour of booking. They said "sorry, your flight is now up over $1000." I said really? Funny - I just checked your website and it is not. He said check again, it's gone up. I said nope. Cancel will cost you over $100. I said really - I don't think so. I called back - different agent. She said you made a mistake - you booked the wrong flight. I said I did not. She said you must have. I said I've booked flights for 20 years - never had a problem - I am all about details and I DID NOT book the wrong flight. She said price has gone up on the flight itinerary you want (she said it was up to $700) - again I said I have a screen shot - "it has not gone up, my screen says it is still $394". Live and learn - I told both agents I would NEVER NEVER book a flight with ExploreTrip again and that I did not want my flight cancelled but I would handle this a different way. I will tell EVERY person I can to NEVER NEVER book a trip/flight with this company. How on earth are they still in business?
