I called APS to setup automatic HOA payment this morning. Stephanie Calderon in AR reviewed the process & emailed the enrollment form to me. She setup the automatic payment shortly after she received the completed enrollment form. I truly appreciate Stephanie's efficiency & excellent customer service.

Near impossible to get ahold of, routinely will pass email requests off between coworkers, adding weeks to resolution.
Contacted regarding adding solar to property: 15 phone calls, and ~20 emails between 03/13-06/07.
Contacted regarding portal payments: 6 emails, 2 phone calls - unresolved

- replying 2 months later is pretty amusing and helps support my point
- I've had the distinct displeasure of having to conduct budget meetings for the HOA with Enrique. They continue to be unresponsive, show up late to meetings specially coordinated to discuss board member issues, and also YoY keep trying to increase dues *and* special assessment fees without any amenities being added.

APS was hired to manage our HOA 4 months ago in April of 2024. The capacity in which they were hired is not extensive and basically their only task every month is to collect dues. Their online auto-payment portal is set up to collect our dues on the first of the month and has yet to do so in a timely manner, and I’ve had to email the POC for our HOA every month inquiring about when our dues will be processed…kind of defeats the purpose of auto-payment if I have to manage the management company. It’s honestly been a terrible transition, and I wish our HOA didn’t hire them. The “services” they provide are not worth the corresponding increase in my dues that came to hire them.

Literally the WORST property management company in all of San Diego! Our HOA has been associated with them for several years and they take advantage of the fact that we only have 20 unit owner’s in our small community and don’t require much from them. They keep raising rates and are unable to complete even the simplest task. My cat could run this company better than them! They rarely return phone calls or emails. The property owner’s at my community complain that they have the leave several voicemails or emails to MAYBE get a response back. The owner is Neal Chazin who I frequently copy on emails when tasks aren’t being completed in a timely manner. Their staff changes so frequently that half the time our board members don’t even know who to call or email. We emailed them at the end of April regarding a special assessment that needed to be added to each individual owner’s account ledgers, this still has not been completed. I ended up calling and emailing all of our property owner’s on their behalf reminding them to pay their special assessments. I’m a volunteer on my board, I shouldn’t have to be doing this for them. They also charge for every email and phone call that they make so I’m sure since no one ever replies to the first email, they just keep adding it to our tab when we follow up asking for updates. Consider yourself warned, you will end up with a headache and angry owner’s if you decide to do business with APS!

As a board member of our community, I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with Ashley Rettino, the Accounts Payable contact at Associated Professional Services, a few times now. I appreciate her ability to get things done and her willingness to help. I usually email her and recently called her for over the phone assistance and to my surprise, she was available to take the call on my first attempt. I look forward to working with her for future payment needs.
