I met Stefan at an open house right after the real estate market had peaked and there were grim predictions of an impending crash. I told him that I wasn’t sure if it was the right time to be looking and I hadn’t definitely decided on where in Santa Barbara County I wanted to live. I hadn’t even decided I wanted to hire a realtor. Stefan was respectful of my position and wasn’t pushy at all but sent me listings he thought would interest me. Eventually, I found a property that seemed to fit my needs and we went into escrow. Unfortunately, the sale fell through due to an issue with the title. I was very disappointed but Stefan went above and beyond to navigate that situation to my satisfaction. After that, I told him I wanted to take a pause in my search and again, he respected my wishes but stayed in contact. Later, I found a house that felt like my dream house and Stefan helped me craft the winning offer. Wouldn’t you know it but that purchase fell through too, due to the sellers failing to perform. Going through these two failed escrows, I was very impressed by Stefan’s professionalism and skill in handling these unique situations. More importantly, I was moved by his perpetually positive nature, his sincerity and kindness towards me, and his profound passion towards his profession. I felt like I was his top priority and I knew that in these transactions, Stefan’s only focus was on my best interests.
