I cannot say enough good things about renting through Vacasa. This is our 3rd vacation using them and This time we opted for a bigger home in the same gated community and I am absolutely blown away by not only the service (through Vacasa) but also this fabulous home we stayed in. Not only was this house beautiful and clean, it was also easily accessible and so incredibly comfortable. From the beds to the couch, it was definitely the perfect place to wind down after long hot days at the parks. I will definitely request to stay here next time.
As for the service, this was not the original home I booked. There was an issue with the original property 2 hrs before check in that was beyond their control, and I couldn’t have asked for better communication. Seriously within 30 mins of finding out there was an issue with the original property, they already had us booked in another rental (another 5 bedroom with my approval). Again they went above and beyond to make this an amazing experience for my family and I.

Perfect for a multi family stay.
Cast a Wave is located in a nice quiet secure neighborhood. Disney is only about a 15 min ride away and some back roads will get you closer to the magic with less congestion. Each room is large and well themed. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you would need (better than any other rental we have used in the past) we paid to have the pool heated and it was a delightful 90 degrees while we were there. We encountered a few unexpected significant problems but Vacasa was very responsive and timely in correcting. If you have a problem, use the customer service phone number and not email which we found to be very inefficient. As a vacation management company, we have found Vacasa to be superior in communication and service to the other major brands. This is the perfect place for a multi family stay.

Very clean condo;

Every detail went well from reserving and receiving all proper communications from vacasa. We received last minute details before our arrival as expected. Once we entered the condo we were pleasantly surprised how clean the condo was, my wife and i couldn't get over how clean it was, the first time my wife did not have to clean a vacation rental when we initially arrive. It was our first time not having to adjust the a/c which was another surprise for us and they have back up fans in the rooms as well as ceiling fans which believe it or not, not too many rentals have ceiling fans, hence we travel with at least one or two if we’re driving to the vacation rental. The condo has all you need for your vacation and is nicely appointed. You can tell the owners care about this property which is not our experience as of late with other properties we rented from. The only regret is that we only had two nights to spend in this wonderful condo but rest assured we will stay again, we can't wait to stay for a whole week next time. So far this has been the best condo we have rented in the storey lake community.

An amazing stay in a beautiful home.
My family and i had an amazing time in this home. The home was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were beautifully decorated,and the gameroom was fun for the kids and adults. The outside areas were inviting and we loved the lights. This is definitely a home we would book again.

We recently stayed at a vacation home managed by Vacasa, and while the property itself was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and located in a fantastic area—unfortunately, our stay was marred by a significant issue with the hot water.

From the start, we were excited about the getaway, especially since we were a group of eight moms who had never met before, eager to enjoy a relaxing weekend together. The house had everything we were looking for—charming character, cozy spaces, and a great layout that seemed perfect for our group. However, upon arrival, we quickly discovered that the hot water wasn't working.

We reached out to the host immediately, and they were very responsive and genuinely concerned about the situation. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the issue was not resolved during our entire stay. For a group of moms looking to unwind, not being able to take warm showers or wash up properly was incredibly frustrating. It really put a damper on what could have been a lovely experience, especially since we were there for the weekend to relax and enjoy some self-care.

Now, here’s where the situation really soured—Vacasa’s customer service was dreadful. We were told we were supposed to be contact days before arriving. Not only did we not receive timely updates about the hot water issue, but when they offered to move us to different properties, they were far from an ideal solution. We had already unpacked all our belongings and groceries, and the alternative homes they suggested were nowhere near comparable to the house we had rented. The other properties had fewer rooms, and certainly weren’t as nice as the home we’d originally booked.

Adding to the frustration, there was no consistent point of contact—every time we called or texted, we were speaking to a different representative, and we had to explain our situation from scratch over and over again. This lack of continuity was incredibly frustrating and only added to the stress of the situation.

To Vacasa’s credit, they did offer a partial refund for two of the three nights, but honestly, we felt this wasn’t enough given the circumstances. We had paid for a home with basic amenities, and being without hot water for our entire stay was unacceptable. In our opinion, a full refund for the entire stay would have been more appropriate, considering the significant inconvenience. We are waiting on a resolution.

It’s a shame because the property itself has so much potential. The host was wonderful, and I believe this could have been a great experience under different circumstances. However, the lack of proper communication and inadequate customer service from Vacasa made what should have been a relaxing retreat into a stressful and uncomfortable situation.

Until the hot water issue is resolved, and until Vacasa improves its customer service, I can’t recommend booking with them. While the home itself is beautiful, the overall experience left much to be desired.

Vacasa has top scale properties. If you are use to the best at home, you should be staying with VACASA vacation properties, l stay with VACASA on every trip! Much cheaper than these high end hotels. The properties are always clean and has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable
