I listed of my rental units (a duplex) with The Listing for a little over a year until I sold the units just now. People at The Listing were very attentive and on the ball. Rent was paid to me in a timely manner, never late one time. When a repair needed to be done, they'd contact me and state the problem (like the air conditioner) and ask if I already had anyone to do that kind of work. If not, they recommendations. The best part: Whenever a repair or service had to be done, they took care of having someone at the apartment if I couldn't be there or just didn't want to be there. If I hadn't sold this property, I would have continued my relationship with them. RECOMMENDED.

I think this company is a scam. They are quick to take your money and all of your information to "process your application" and it's a wild goose chase from there!! I was told over a week ago they were done processing my application and that I would receive a final decision 1-2 days.............. NOTHING YET! Every time I call, only one person answers the phone (Warren). Every day I call, I am told I will receive a decision by the end of the day. I am certain that I qualify for the property so a denial would be retaliation of my honest experience with this company.

An hour later after this post, I received an adverse action letter stating the owner chose another applicant. PLEASE KNOW THAT ON A RECORDED CALL I specifically asked if there were any other applicants for that property and was told NO.

This is scary and I would never attempt to rent/tour from this company again. I scheduled a tour for a property online and later got prompt with a message for the only option is self guided and had to upload my ID and a bunch, like a bunch of info to weave out scams I assume. After driving 40+ minutes to go view the property, it says I would have to text the automated message that I’ve been receiving messages on for the lockbox code once I text back the lockbox number, simple. But as I’m trying to text the number, a deep masculine voice in the unit asks me “what are you doing at my place?” I get scared but try to stay calm saying “I’m here for my schedule apartment tour?” Hoping that maybe this is a realtor or something. But no, the man in there tells me I need to leave HIS unit and I have the “wrong address”, even though I read off the address to make sure it’s the correct listing and they agreed. It was a terrifying situation because that was most likely a squatter and he was breathing super heavy behind the door and I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if I went in there without knowing. I tried to contact the company for an entire hour and nobody was help saying “oh it should be empty, nobody has applied yet”. They just kept transferring me saying “the person isn’t available who you can speak with” and sending multiple emails labeled “urgent” to the person who listed it saying they will get back with me “soon”. Still, a month later nobody has EVER contacted me about the situation of why someone was in there if they take safety precautions, why don’t they change the code after each tour, and my time and gas wasted. And what makes it worse, that unit is still listed to rent. But it was a sign that the place was not for me because I found one I loved even more. Just very unprofessional to the max on this company’s end.

I moved out 46 days ago they still haven’t returned my security deposit. I’ve called and emailed almost everyday since June 21st and they haven’t bothered to respond or provide me with any information. I have to pursue legal action to get money that is rightfully mine. This company is a scam and will also raise your rent drastically each year you renew. They also charge you to move out even if your lease is up which is insane! Please save your many and DO NOT rent from them! I wish I could give 0 stars but it’s not an option.

Update: on day 50 still no deposit, still no answers, property manager is refusing to contact me back, and the person answering the front desk refuses to let me talk to anyone other than him even asking multiple times to speak to the owner of the company. They are in breach of my lease agreement. Kirsten Nieves is the name on my Lease.

I would give 0 stars if possible. We have had termites for months, the worst case the exterminator has seen. It took forever for them to get a different exterminator out who only drilled holes in the walls and somewhat took care of the problem. Our fridge and freezer broke and it took a full month to resolve it. We lost lots of grocery money because of it. Every time I try to call they send me to a voicemail that never contacts me again. I was told weekend maintenance would be coming and they never even attempted to get them here. Do NOT rent from The Listing, it isn't worth it. They don't care about you regardless of how good of a tenant you are. Do NOT RENT FROM THEM.

I have to say be careful with this real estate company. I thought it was good because of the reviews, apparently, they pay people to give them a good review because they totally scammed me. I paid for the application. It took 8 days to get an answer after I called every day after 5 days which was the longest, they reported saying you get an answer back. The property manager is never available to the property I was trying to get. After, 8 days I got a declined letter saying due to credit report. I checked my credit report which was great and sent it to them to please clarify what is the issue if I have no collections and no issues. They said they couldn't discuss. So then how are we going to get to the bottom of this if no one wants to discuss the matter? My only guess is they no longer had that property for rent and was just stealing people's money in conning them to apply. Why? because when I spoke to another person who is just the admin said there was only one apartment and about 20 applicants. How so? So why are they taking everyone's application money if you only have one apartment? Is that why I wasn't approved because you can't approve 20 people for one apartment? They are scammers. BE WARE.

The TLREM team that I worked with was amazing. Fayola Adgar, Job Petersen and Seth Sing were all really very helpful in getting a new tenant into my first residential property for me despite the current unfavorable market conditions; From onboarding and advertising to property management operations! This entire team was very courteous and thorough and were always available to address all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend TLERM and am really excited to continue leveraging their amazing services with them as I acquire new properties in the future. Thank you, thank you Fayola, Job, Seth and the entire TLREM staff!
