Their Parkview Apts are a complete health hazardand should be torn down!!
Be sure to keep all documentation and correspondences.

Not to mention they are complete scammers. Everyone in the office is miserable, and it shows in their work ethic and how they upkeep the properties.

Refer to Robertos review. They did the same to me, charged me for any bs they could come up with to keep my security depoit. Although I know I can prove them wrong with all the documentation I have, it's not worth it. Good riddance!!

Run, run, run from this company!

Would not recommend moving here! They are low in price for a reason. Many problems with different things (Entry locks broken; washers/dryers breaking; dirty/smelly hallways) that arose during my time renting. Faithfully paid rent on time every month and when you decide to move out, they will find even the slightest issue to charge and keep your security deposit. Horrible place to stay.

By far one of the worst places to rent from. They did put in new floors, carpet and cabinets but didn’t do anything else. My husband and I moved in here March ‘23 because it was much bigger than our old place and we needed bigger at that time. The trimming around the floor boards weren’t done and the slats for them are still in my dinning room, there are rats and mice around the back patio, along with these little red and black bugs that don’t go away no matter what you do to get rid of them. The city sent a pamphlet in the mail about the rats. Not the management company. The grout around the bathtub needed to be done before we should have moved in but wasn’t. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling before we moved in and now it looks like it was painted over. When they had the cleaning ladies come in, they told us to take pictures of everything that wasn’t done so we wouldn’t be charged for it upon move out. The microwave doesn’t work and when it does, it blows a fuse every time. They just told us to turn it back on. Maintenance takes days to show up to fix things. They towed my husband’s truck because it “didn’t” have a parking pass on it when it did and we explained our situation to them. Also no one notified us that it was towed. I had to call the police department to see if it was stolen or towed. I called and told them to get it out because we weren’t paying for it when there was a parking tag on it and showed proof. They don’t go a great job of plowing during the winter either. When we had those 2 snow storms back to back in Jan, they showed up 3-4 days later wanting to plow and couldn’t get the snow up. Then they “salted” and that made it worse and never came back to finish it. The only thing we liked about this place is that they left you alone. Never showed up unless something needed to be done. Please don’t rent from them. It might be cheap, but it’s not worth it.

Man it would be nice to be given a reason why I can't be rented to I mean I did pay 35 dollars just to be told your denied..I make more than Enough to pay rent..couple things here and there probably could be explained on my application and probably worked out..there's none of that ..smh it's a shame how the company's policy's are ran here..rather see a working family on the street rather than working something out with them...and in reality it is one of the few affordable places to rent in waukesha..I'm still looking but not much is affordable with a working one parent home..

Been at their Saint Francis property, Couple months short of a year. Staff has always been very friendly and Understanding . Maintenance is fast and friendly as-well . Had a Horrendous management company When I lived on the east side. These guys are great!

*DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY* One star is too much for this sorry excuse for a rental management company. For a rental MANAGEMENT company, they certainly do very little management. The property is in disrepair, and the property owner doesn't care unless it's something he considers important. BG Lein acts like they're going to help mediate, but still nothing gets done. A broken fridge sat in my apartment for OVER A MONTH before someone came to look at it, and when they left, the fridge was worse than before. Then they proceeded to replace it with a dirty used fridge. The doors in my apartment are literally coming off the hinges, and the maintenance ticket has been sitting for MONTHS. The ticket for my drafty patio door has been sitting for MONTHS. When the property owner actually gets off his butt to do something, he does it himself, and does a poor quality job. When he can't do it, he hires cheap laborers who also do a poor job. The cabinetry is held together by screws and glue because it's been broken and repaired so many times. The heating is all super old and out of date, on top of the building being poorly insulated. Electricity bill is through the roof.

Edit: I have since noticed bug and rodent activity throughout the building. If my previous comments didn't discourage you from renting from these people, hopefully rats will.

Ownership called and, after some initial friction, we had a discussion like adults. We agreed to mutually terminate the lease after a standard 60 day notice to vacate. Owner came in person to verify the state of the apartment, and he signed off on the full security deposit then and there. I shook his hand as I left. He was resistant to admitting any fault on their side, but he was willing to make things right which I respect.
Three days before I was set to move, I also contacted him with a very serious safety concern regarding the Apt. Manager. He said he didn't believe me, but the next day there was a notice that the manager had been fired.

Edit 2: Google reminded me of this review, and I see BG is still up to the same shenanigans. Just wanted to reminisce about some of my favorite highlights from West Bend that didn't make it into the OG review.

* Thermostat didn't have a knob. Maintenance stole one from another apt.
* Water heater started leaking in my closet. Maintenance had the audacity to think they were going to shut off my hot water and leave for the day without fixing it.
* The apartment above mine had to be gutted after they kicked the last tenant out. They'd start construction right above my room at 6AM even after I called them to discuss their own policy on quiet hours.
* Had someone swan dive onto my patio from two floors up.

If I can give no stars. I notice that my house was getting warmer mind you it was 101 degrees outside feeling like 117 degrees. My central air unit was not working. I put in a maintenance request but I also called the emergency number left a message. Julie called me back and I explained the problem and she said that the fuse but the fuse was on. She stated that she would not get no one over I was like fine I will go buy some fans. I could not find fans no where mind you I have Asthma I could hardly breath in my own house. I called the emergency number and left a written message on the maintenance request Julie called me back and told me there nothing they can do and I should go buy a air conditioner that really blow my mind with the amount of rent I pay I am not going to buy a air conditioner that absurd for one night or two nights. She then told me to see if I can go stay with someone else that is crazy. This is a shame I do not understand why they have an emergency phone number because it is useless. I will be moving after my lease this was a whole different level of showing they don’t care not even about my health Julie said that was not her problem that she was without AC for two days. They won’t give me my money back for the hotel I have to go stay at because of there no good emergency number and person.

The apartment and maintenance crew I had was great. Great friendly neighbors as well. Down fall, we wanted a garage. Was told to be put on the waiting list and will get a call upon availability. 3 months down. One garage became available and was rented out to new tenants that just came in. Called bg’s office, all the incompetent employees were unsure of why that happened or how & making excuses etc. Spoke with Megan (who seem more competent and actually cared) looked into the situation and got me a garage within a few days. Another downfall, Bg Lein contracts with Always Towing (tow truck company). These guys will tow your car away regardless if there’s any complaints or not. They will charge you $350 to get it back even if they had your vehicle for less than 24hrs. A scam company. If you guys can “Uncontract” that company I think you guys would be better off. I was never late on any rent payment, never caused trouble or never got a complaint. So me getting my car towed away bcuz I forgot to out up my parking permit is just a big slap in the face. Therefore overall, living here was okay. Just felt like it was very unfair to get our cars towed away twice and lost $700. I’d understand if I was parking in someone’s spot and they made a complaint. But it was none of that. I’d rate this place at least a 4 star if it wasnt for that tow truck company. So renters/tenants, be aware.
