My husband and I booked a lodge with alpine lodging for a different location, unfortunately I had the dates mixed up and had to call and see if they had another property available for the weekend that I wanted. The on-call representative was extremely friendly and helpful and was able to get us into a different room. She did not state there was an up charge but when we were notified we understood, as the room came with a kitchen instead of it being a loft.

When we arrived We discovered the room was the fairy very outdated, and when we pulled out the couch we found a T-shirt from the gas before us, leaving me to believe it was not properly cleaned. That night my husband and I woke up freezing as the heater in the bedroom had a different thermostat I was hidden behind an armoire. We were never notified of the thermostat and got little sleep as We had to sleep on the pull out couch where the heater was working. There was no restroom soap and the towels were so rough I didn’t need to exfoliate!

The location was beautiful with an excellent view, I suggest updating the rooms like they did the others from the photos online.

They did give us $100 for the inconvenience of the thermostat which I appreciated. Communication was via text and check in was very cold and rude. Unfortunately We will not be staying with Alpine lodging again.

This is the second time we have booked with this company and we could not be happier. They were incredibly responsive to all our needs from an additional frying pan to helping with noisy neighbors. Our condo was well stocked and comfortable. In the past, when we have booked through other companies, especially those who are not located in town, we did not get the personal service Alpine Lodging Telluride provided - thank you - we will definitely be back!

First off the place we stayed was 100% loved the decor, location, views etc @ LuluCity 5C
More importantly though was the especially great correspondence with Alpine Valley during the entire process! Great emails, texts, responsiveness! And a big mega huge shout out to Stevie who helped me as I panicked realizing I left my entry code in the condo and was freaking out Id never be able to get in last night! Super grateful she hooked me up immediately! Highly recommend!

We booked a unit at Viking lodge through alpine lodging for two reason: location and pool/hot tub. The unit itself was lovely. We found out randomly the day before travel that the pool and hot tub were broken when I showed the photos of the unit to my husband. We reached out to alpine lodging to see if it would be fixed and it not could they offer some compensation. We were told hot tubs in mountain locations were quite difficult to maintain and they were sorry but nothing could be done. We asked for the manager to reach out and never heard from the manager. If the advertised amenities are not operable should come compensation not be provided? Even if it’s just a bottle of wine? We will not use alpine lodging for our next visit to telluride.

My children and I stayed at with this establishment summer 2014 for a little over a week. My son's fold out bed blocked our way to the bathroom. The room was small and cramped. On day 2 & 3 there was no breakfast. The cream cheese we found in the frig was moldy. We dined out. On day 4 they restocked the common area kitchen--finally! Then the code on our door was changed with no notification. This was done after hours and the emergency contact number posted not in the hotel but in the office downtown did not answer. I ended up leaving my children downtown as I, by now in a full panic, started running around town and calling *other* hotels hoping someone could help me. I had visions of sleeping that night in the car. After two hours a clerk at a neighboring establishment gave me the number of another emergency desk clerk. Turns out, she was dealing with an emergency at another location and could not answer my initial phone calls. The establishment doesn't hire enough people. They also don't clean unless you put in a request--which we did but the cleaners didn't show up. Looking back, I should have just ate the expense, booked elsewhere and moved mid-week. I asked my children if we should move and they were reluctant, so I didn't. They refunded me one night's stay and I had to fight for that. I would never in a thousand lives return to that place. What a nightmare.

Great location, but the actual rooms definitely need upgrades and are extremely minimalistic. ie. The King Bed was two twin beds, that were two different mattresses, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Also, the place recently changed its policy that all dogs must be kept with the owners at all times; however this was not listed on the rental property, on the website, nor were we notified when we called to say we were bringing our dog. Therefore, when we arrived and were told of this policy change, we had to scramble and try and get a dog sitter, so we could actually enjoy our stay. One of the front-desk staff was also rude from check in to check out. Therefore, although the location is great, we will not be staying at this location again.
