The in-person staff were friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a major communication issue with the online staff as we were told several different things over the course of working with them. Several listings were not ready when they were listed and some properties were not cleaned.

Do not lease from any property using Angelo Rentals, nor have any property be managed by them. They did an absolutely awful job "rehabbing" Cross Keys, did not follow through on any promises (like a new laundry room and a "dog park"). They literally let a giant garbage can sit outside the parking lot for multiple months without being picked up which has cause a fly infestation. Whoever they hired for maintenance did an awful job at literally everything. They cut a whole in our ceiling to adjust the ac, and when they finally covered it back up 2 moths later, it was the ugliest fix I'd ever seen. Literally within one week of the new management taking over they are already working on a new laundry room, something that was promised to us a year ago

We moved to San Angelo from out of state and the folks at Angelo Rentals D&D made the move SO easy. They made sure everything was in order so we could just drive up and move in. We've now been their tenants for two years and have only great things to say. Their management and maintenance teams are always timely, attentive, and kind.

They are also very good at explaining the ins and outs of the lease agreements so that everyone is on the same page. It's very nice to have a property manager that treats you with respect as a tenant.

Finally, they have everything we need available online in a tenant portal system that is so fast and easy to use. We love it!

Wishing I could choose 0 stars. I currently rent one of their houses and plan on moving out as soon as possible. My AC went out 8 days ago, I put in the maintenance request 7 days ago. It took 3 days for someone to call me and it was only to say that no one could go out until Monday. I have not received a single phone call since. When I call them, no one answers.
I am currently pregnant, with 2 dogs, and work from home. Our house is 99 degrees inside considering it is 105 during the day. It’s not exactly easy for me to pack up my family and stay somewhere else until they fix the issue. I did just now finally get in touch with David from maintenance (thank you David for answering!) and he said he needs to reach out to the vendor to see when they’ll be able to come out to fix the AC… so we still do not know when we can live in our home that we pay rent for. I understand they have to go through the homeowner on certain things, but the fact that they aren’t answering their texts/calls or even contacting me daily with updates is absurd. I have requested management call me twice via phone and 6 times via text (there is no email address listed to contact) and no one has responded.
They aren’t the ones that have to live in Texas heat with no AC so it is no big deal to them. But what if your wife was pregnant and was expected to just stay in the house with no AC for over a week? They are crazy if they do not prorate my rent for next month considering it’s been 8 days of not living in this house.

Took them 6 months to return security deposit. They dodged phone calls and wouldn’t return calls. Charged $75 to re print a check that Shawna messed up. Guaranteed certain things would work when they didn’t wouldn’t own up to them. Poor customer service. Aren’t humans just a company making money.

Excellent and prompt Maintenance service. I put in a Maintenance request on the Company Portal on Sunday after 7pm and on Monday by noon I had someone calling to ask if I could meet them at my home. My request was for a leak under my kitchen sink. It was determined that I needed a new garbage disposal immediately. The technician asked about the bottom of the cabinet because it was sinking due to a leak that had occurred before I moved in. The cabinet floor had never been replaced. The tech quickly went to purchase a new disposal and went above what was asked for in the original request, he measured and cut wood to fix the bottom of the cabinet as well. He then even asked me for my broom and mop to clean up the saw dust and the water prints from his work. I insisted that he not worry about the clean up because I was so grateful for his going above and beyond what I expected. He was kind, respectful and very professional. I was thoroughly pleased and told him that I would recommend he get a raise. Very impressed with the over all processes from stay to finish! Would highly recommend!!!
