My wife and I own and manage a few rental units in the East Bay. We had to deal with two separate tenants who refused to pay rent for almost two years even after the rent moratorium for the county was lifted. Since we've only done one eviction case ourselves more than 20 years ago, we had to seek the help of legal professionals to help us navigate a new and much more complicated process for evictions. The Bornstein Law team seemed to be the only law firm that was willing to take our case especially with one of the two that was extremely challenging. With their help, we were able to get a court ruling for us as plaintiffs. When one of the tenants continued to throw roadblocks on the path to getting the eviction executed by the Sheriff's Office, the Bornstein Law team was able to secure the necessary legal expert to help us overcome these obstacles. It took more than six months for us to regain control of our rental properties and to resume the income stream for our retirement, but we would not have been able to do it without the help of the Bornstein Law team.
