Bruce and Tara own and manage the home we rent on 59th Way South and just let me tell you they are landlords par excellence.

Most of my experience of landlords is that they are either:
1) Totally checked out which is good because they leave you alone but awful as soon as anything breaks.
2) Totally uptight and pushy making you defend yourself constantly and demanding you treat their home like the Taj Mahal

Bruce and Tara are like the perfect baby bear porridge between these two extremes. They are highly attentive to what we need (our oven door weirdly shattered and they got on fixing it right away) and at the same time flexible and spacious in their approach.

Honestly, it feels like they think about us as neighbors and people instead of threats or a check. I'm not sure we'll ever be able to rent from anyone else because they've spoiled us so fully.

They take care of the yard better than we wood, respond to texts and calls when we need them, and are really clear and upfront about expectations and communication.

There is a special place in landlord heaven for these two and I'm so glad we decided to rent a home from them instead of anyone else.
