C&C Property Management, and specifically our wonderful property manager Destinee, have been a godsend! We previously used another company with good reviews, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Destinee and the C&C team stepped in, helped right the ship, and we are so grateful for them.

We submitted an application for a rental at the end of 8/2023. We asked questions specifically in regards to our dogs and informed upfront specifics on our pets. Destinee told us she would run it by the owner at which time the response was they would be considered. We were told by Destinee that our application looked great and waiting final approval. When they requested additional information such at reaching our current landlord, we quickly responded and asked our Landlord to please respond. Which he did. When we messaged for updates and status, response were not so timely and often had to ask twice. My son and I were extremely happy and excited to move into this house and they had us waiting. The house had been on the market over 30 days and said they couldn't get anyone approved. There is no reason we couldn't get approved, financially. They wanted more and more for deposit, pet deposit. We agreed. It seemed we were approved and asked when we could move in. I responded we wanted to pay respect to current landlord 30 days. With it costing over $8 THOUSAND to move in we didnt want to pay rent in 2 places. She said the 30 days was too long. We agreed to do a week earlier despite having a celebration of life to host. That still wasn't good. Then we asked what a good date was. No response for a date, but only that the owner wanted a sooner move in. So they denied us, apparently because of move in date and of course wouldn't return our application fees. THEY refused to work with us on a move in date. I believe Destinee was dishonest with the reason of denial, and wasn't communicating as she stated she was. I believe this reflects on the company while they are collecting application fees and no proper denials. The way "business" was conducted here, was not professional and honest, In my opinion. Guess what? A day after our denial- rent dropped $200.00 on Zillow and today is 9.26.2023 and the house is still up for rent! Probably collecting application fees and denying for no sufficient reason. There is also a contradiction when you submit application because they say non refundable but when you actually submit... the additional info says if denied- will return. If approved, will go towards app fee. I wouldnt recommend working with this company!!
