Colorado First Realty was completely understanding company and were very easy to work with. I am a military member and am about to deploy and had to leave before the lease was up. They made my moving out experience very easy without any headaches. I would highly recommend this company to anyone PCSing or just moving to the Colorado Springs area. Having to move a lot I have had use a lot of rental companies and Colorado First Realty was the best one I have worked with so far.

They took our security deposit and never returned it. We are looking into a lawyer. They blocked out numbers and are not answering our emails. This is not people you want to rent from. Not only did they keep our deposit but they never fixed anything we ever put service tickets for. We went an entire year without being able to use the master bedroom and when we had a major plumbing issue they left us without water the entire weekend because they don’t work on the weekends. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone.

UPDATE:
My family has lived in our family home for over half a decade now. We have never had an issues with the mail. I have spoken to the postal office multiple times and they have informed me there was nothing from you guys. If you guys would have printed our names out the first time this wouldn’t be an Issue TWO years later. If you guys kept our money it’s clear you needed it more than we did. The unprofessionalism we have dealt from you guys is unbelievable. Our new landlord couldn’t even get ahold of you and expressed their frustration how unprofessional you guys were even when they finally got in touch. Than to public attack shows how unprofessional you guys are. Also not once did I say I would contact a lawyer. To block a tenants number is just unbelievable and unacceptable during an emergency I may add.

This company is a great to work with when I rented one of their condos. They really worked with me to have the qualifications to rent and was very time efficient on us getting moved in. When we had to move out the process was quick and our deposit was refunded within 3 weeks. So Happy with this company and would totally refer them to anyone!!!

Avoid this company at all costs! I would love to talk to anyone considering moving into any Colorado First Reality, rental properties because if, you are a veteran, considering getting a service animal, or expect reasonable living standards for a rental property you won’t be treated very well.

Being a military member who was deployed to a combat zone, I needed to find a way to deal with my stress. I applied for an Emotional Support Animal and that is when things went south with Colorado First Reality. I was told that, “If we (Colorado First Reality) would have known you were serious about getting a dog, we won’t have accepted you as a resident.” Quick side note, that’s illegal. Federal law prohibits someone from being discriminated against under the Fair Housing Act, if they have or need a service animal.

I have never seen a more unprofessional run company before. I would rather fly in a crowded, COVID infested, Spirit Airlines flight everyday then try and work with Lynn or Don ever again. Feel free to talk with any contractor that is in the area and they will all tell you that working with this company makes them not want to work with them ever again.

Since April, when I moved in we have had several contractors come out for issues that should have been dealt with before we even moved in. Water pressure is garbage, hot water heater is on the brink of going out, furnace filter hasn’t been changed out in probably 3 years, chipped paint and cracked flooring is something they consider “as is”. Let me say, there is a level of understanding when moving into a rental, but you also have a reasonable expectation that some things will be covered up or fixed. Not with this company.

Oh, also if you are a current resident or a recent resident that has left, expect to lose $180 from your deposit for a COVID cleaning charge. Which in reality they are taking your money and pocketing every cent. They did no such cleaning in our unit prior to us moving in.

This company was our property mgr for 12 yrs. Absolutely no complaints. We live on East Coast and needed company with knowledge and experience in Parker market. Always found great, responsible tenants: condo never vacant more the one month, we got the rents we wanted, unit always left in great condition. Don Williams very personable and efficient. Totally knows his business. Use this company for seamless, consistent, reliable property mgt!

I scheduled a rental home viewing with this company and no one showed up!
I have called and e-mailed them multiple times and have not heard anything! I consider this extremely uncourteous and unprofessional. Why has this company not even attempted to contact me to provide an explanation as to why I was left waiting in the dark with my two children?! The drive itself was almost 30 minutes!
Save yourself the time and find another rental management company.
