Disclosure: I have known Dennis for 45 years. I worked with Dennis for several years in the late 1970s as a Real Estate Appraiser. Having said that, he was my first choice as my "Buyer's Agent" in the purchase of my latest homestead property. I know Dennis as being one of the most intelligent people I know, and he is highly experienced in the Real Estate profession both commercial AND residential. In addition to that, he is one of the most trustworthy & honest persons I know. I firmly believe his ethical standards in the Real Estate Arena are 2nd to none. And lastly, I am convinced that if Dennis can't put a real estate deal together, one of the parties, either the buyer or the seller, is nuts.

Dennis Basile of D Basile Real Estate worked tirelessly for us in securing a buyer for our property. We presented something of a challenge for Dennis as the property being sold had four joint owners who lived in three different states but he did a superb job of keeping everyone in the loop of information and ensuring everyone signed what was needed. Dennis did a lot of pre-listing research to ensure we had all the information we needed to decide on a price and we were listing the house the way we wanted.

Our house did not sell right away. Dennis worked with us to determine factors that would improve the number of showings and the result was almost immediate. We had several offers that, for various reasons, did not result in a closing despite Dennis' creative solutions to the issues raised by the potential buyers. Shortly thereafter, a serious buyer made an offer and Dennis brokered that offer into a closing.

I can't say enough good things about Dennis and his efforts on our behalf. Thank you, Dennis.

In every experience Dennis went above and beyond, whether it be listing our commercial office/industrial bay, selling our previous home, or buying our current home. Dennis secured a 5 year lease for a commercial building we own in Palm Bay on 12/19/19. Another great job by Dennis Basile! My husband and I can’t say enough good things about D. Basile Real Estate! Dennis listed and sold our home in West Melbourne and sold us another home in Baytree. We have never had a realtor work so hard for us with our best interests at heart. One house was sold in Monroe County and a different one was purchased in Indian River County. Dennis was the buyer's agent for the home in Indian River County but gave his advice for the home being sold in Monroe County. (The seller's agent assistance in Monroe County was minimal .) Dennis definitely helped with the "signing" of the Monroe County home. It was delayed by six days thereby delaying the purchase of the new home in Indian River County. Was this a crazy mixed up situation? YES! Dennis was able to facilitate between dealing with (for the Monroe County home) two different real estate agents, two different financial institutions, and two different title companies. This allowed the seller of the Monroe property to purchase the Indian River County home with money obtained from his Monroe County home. Only due to his many years of experience, in Brevard County and knowledge obtained from his years of selling and as a board member of Real Estate Organizations (Tallahassee) did he have the knowledge to give us the "vocabulary" to question the proceedings in Monroe County. No, the Monroe County agent (as the seller's agent) was NOT as helpful.Thank you, Dennis. He cares and does the extra work for his clients!

All home sales have there special circumstances. Dennis Basile handled this sale and the unusual problems very professionally. I was very satisfied with his attention to detail and his understanding of the situation which accomplished the closing on scheduled. Would use him again for sure.

EDITED: I wasnt going to go into why I gave 1 star, but in response to the below response from the company, a property management company is supposed to be an advocate for both tenant and property owner. This company does not care in the slightest about the tenant. FYI, the owner of the property may pay you, d basile, but they get that money from us, the tenants.

Now, on to why you ACTUALLY got the 1 star review. It was not entirely because of the misunderstanding over the security deposit. In fact, that is a VERY small portion of it. The house that we were renting had many maintenance issues with it over the course of our lease. That is not the management company's fault, but what is their fault is the slow or lack of response and untimely manner in which the issues were handled. For example, the tub in the master bath's cartridge or valve broke and the tub water ran constantly for OVER A WEEK, driving up our water bill. A week!! All because our manager, Louie, was out of state. Umm, dont you have more than one person working there?! We called and talked to mr basile himself when we found out (2 days later) that Louie was out of town, and he seemed unconcerned about it and asked if we could wait until Louie got back. We stressed the situation but were told to wait 4 more days anyways. 4 days passed and we hadn't heard anything. Contacted them again and it still took another 3 days after that to get someone out to fix the problem. We should have sent our water bill to them.

The property that we were in was managed by another company when we moved in and changed to d basile after about a month. When we moved into the house, it was disgusting. Dirt and grime on the baseboards, dead bugs smeared on the blinds, pools of grease on the countertop, overflowing grease trap on the oven, brown toilets, dirt and dead bugs in the showers, and much more. We photo documented everything. The previous company that managed it, gave us a promise in writing that due to the condition of the house upon move in that we would not be charged a cleaning fee at the end. That went out the door with the switch in management. We even photo documented our move out and you can clearly see that we left the home in better shape than we recieved it. Doesnt matter to this company though.

There is SO MUCH MORE that I could add, but for the sake of not wasting any more of my time on these predatory businessmen, I'll leave it at this.

Proceed with caution if you rent from this company. Just know, they will lie to your face in person and will drag their feet on repairs. Dont call them with concerns either, they cant be bothered with that kind of thing, they're too busy trying to sell houses to be bothered by tenants. I'm just glad to see I'm not the only 1 star reviewer.

Dennis handled the sale of my home with utmost professionalism and took the transaction to close. I would recommend Dennis to everyone wishing to sell or purchase their property.
