I was able to get my full deposit and pet deposit back. I was an excellent tenant and if you are a responsible tenant and take care of the property, they will refund your deposit. Thank you Kevin for helping me get my deposit back! I believe if you are a good tenant they will work with you so you too can receive your deposit when you move out.
I wouldn’t even give them one star if I didn’t have to. I’ve been waiting on my deposit for 8 months. They tried to say I didn’t give them any notice I was moving out. That is a lie. I made improvements on that house without expecting my time or money back. I painted the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom and put all new handles and hinges on all of the cabinets, changed the flooring in the kitchen, I swapped out all the outlets that were loose and/or broken and added new outlet covers and l installed illuminated light switches in the hallway, I put a new wax ring on the toilet because it was so loose, and l also repaired the damaged tiles in the shower. I added peel and stick wallpaper in the bathroom to hide the mismatched tiles on the bathroom wall. I went above and beyond my the expectations of a tenant. Why would I put all that effort into a house just to not tell them I was moving out? I called her today (Friday) to follow up from my conversation with them on Wednesday and she asked me to give her until Monday to get back to me. I’ll update my review on whether they did the right thing or I’m taking them to small claims court for $129.00. Be very careful when renting from this company. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING and record conversations you have with them IF you want your deposit back when you move out without any hassle. I’ve included some before and after pictures. This company will try and keep your deposit if you don’t document and record everything.

Sending me a bill with absurd charges. $800 repaint unit, there was nothing wrong with the walls. Yes, the color was ugly but that’s how it was when I moved in. $200 broken glass on door. I told them about that 2 years prior when a truck hit my house. It wasn’t repaired until I moved out. $300 pet stains. That carpet was stained horribly when I moved in, and my dog (emotional support animal) is highly trained and never went on the floor. $80 for a small Venetian blind for the front door? $60 for screen door damage that was there when I moved in? I have a whole walk through video of when I moved in. It was way worse than when I left. But hey, I finally got rid of your giant roaches and rat infestation! Please take me to court.

I am a landlord using them as my management company. They are most non communicative company I’ve ever dealt with, unless they want money from you and then they are relentless. They make promises with no follow through. They make mistakes and then expect me to pay for them. If you need someone reliable, go elsewhere.

They need a rating with tons of minuses. This place is worthless, the so called boss lady there thinks she owns the world and very disrespectful. When I told her that I will give them a bad rating and file a complaint with better business burou she said "go right ahead, we have tons of complaints and bad reviews but we are still in business because we always have new people to come". If you don't want headache, stress and waste your time, don't ever engage any business with them. They are extremely rude, unprofessional ' when she didn't like what I said, she snatched the paper from my hand and told me go through their drive through ". I am so glad we won't have to deal with these people any more. If this place don't want these employees cause them their business, they need to terminate her job ASAP.

Terrible place that takes advantage of people who trust them. Their staff has been given us wrong information one who aren't even licensed to do so ,so that we would mess up on our lease after an argument we had. They changed our lease after we signed it without our knowledge .half the house wasn't insulated and when we told them they wouldn't fix it . There was a mildew smell the entire time we were there and they ignored our request to fix these issues left us without a oven.simply because their receptionist had a problem with me having a problem with them not fixing our insulation. I would recommend anyone run if they hear the name dalzell period. Their staff doesn't care about the people they rent to or even the houses they provide.

Do not waste your time with this company. Agents never returned my calls. So when I had an issue with appointment time could not call them. Left me crying in an alley on my birthday. They were extremely difficult trying to work with.so I Called a competitor and my apartment is way nicer bigger and cheeper than anything Dalzell was offering. And I get treated with respect from the Realtors agency that did take time to assist me and any maintenance issues they are right on it!

Agent never return calls. They will have you waiting outside the house you want to see for 15 minutes just for nobody to show up. I gave them a call to ask if anybody is going to show up and they said they can’t make that appointment that they setup and that we need to reschedule. Lazy staff.

I called in today as an employer of one of their tenants because the checks were late and it was going to cause my employee to be late paying her rent. The lady I spoke to that answered the phone just kept stating that the tenant signed a legal document requiring her to pay on the specific date. I tried to explain the situation and she just kept being rude and restating what she had just told me. I tried to explain that there should be some sort of grace for someone that has an employer willing to prove it was out of the tenants hands. Just not very compassionate and I've seen there homes they rent out and they are usually unacceptable living situations for anyone.
