Two years ago, I entrusted Defender with my first home transaction, and initially, everything seemed to go smoothly. However, when I attempted to file for the homestead tax, I discovered that the home title had never been filed with the county. Despite my attempts to seek clarification from Defender, I received no satisfactory answers. After persistent inquiries, an employee finally disclosed the name of the company they had outsourced to, revealing that there was never a title to begin with.

Selling a house without a filed title raises legal concerns, and despite my patience over the last two years, Defender has not taken any discernible action to address this issue. The only response I received was a small check of $200 after involving my realtor. I find myself in a difficult situation as I don't know what to do, particularly given my financial constraints as a disabled veteran and teacher supporting four kids. This predicament requires urgent attention and resolution.
