What an amazing experience! We saw a whale! A 60 foot fin whale to be exact! The boat was a perfect size to get to the beautiful mammals quickly. Captain Nick’s expertise in finding whales was impressive. He knew where to go, when to be patient and wait on the whale, he had a ton of knowledge about whales and how long they may dive for, the amount of breaths they might take at the surface, etc. Nick was personable, great with my kids, and generally a person I felt safe with to take my family out to sea for this exciting adventure. We look forward to being on the boat again with Nick in the fall and/spring!

I’d choose 10 stars if I could. Capt. Nick is super nice, really knows the ocean, and you can tell he has a deep respect for Mother Nature and her ocean. We got really lucky on our afternoon trip and saw pods and pods of dolphins and spent quality time with a Bryde’s whale. The whale even took a huge bite right in front of us in the middle of the feeding dolphins. I know every trip out can’t be like this but it’s definitely quality time out there with Capt. Nick and East Meets West!

Captain Nick was not only informative throughout our adventure, but so passionate about the dolphins, whales, birds and fish. He truly made the experience so exciting and memorable for all onboard!

From how he tracked, was ready and willing to go the extra ocean miles for us to see an incredible dolphin stampede to his professionalism and knowledge of the waters; Captain Nick runs an excellent operation and we will be going on another tour again!

We had a fabulous cruise. Captain Nick did his best to help us see as much marine life as possible. We followed two huge pods of dolphins, we saw minke whales and adorable sea lions. The captain stayed in each spot for a long time so we could really experience the animals. Would highly recommend this experience!

Our adventure with Captain Nick was phenomenal! We witnesses several lively pods of dolphins and even some sun bathing sea lions, chirping away. To be so up close to this element of God’s magnificent and awe inspiring creation on an exhilarating boat ride is a memory I will hold near and dear. Fantastic excursion!! We saw multiple dolphin pods and a humpback whale and on the return to dock, sea lions basking in the sun. Captain Nick is very knowledgeable and has so much passion for sharing and showing these amazing sea creatures. We definitely recommend joining this tour!!

This Whale & Dolphin watching excursion is by far THE BEST I have been on! The care Captain Nick takes to get you as close to the whales, dolphins & seals without disturbing their space is impeccable! We encountered a blue whale several times and more dolphins to count. The dolphins got so close, you felt like you were swimming with them! Captain Nick is definitely passionate about giving you the most amazing experience he can!

Seven years ago, we sailed with Captain Nick and we hit repeat for a return visit during this west coast vacation again. Timely, organized and knowledgeable, Nick ensured we had a fantastic time on the water. While it’s never guaranteed that you’ll see animals in the wild, we were able to view a huge pod of dolphins, a fin whale, Minke whales and an ocean sunfish.
