MOLD, electrical issues, fire safety issues, and illegal office intimidation. I am a resident at their Cypress View Villas in their Weatherford location and it has been the worst living experience of my ENTIRE life. The mold has been rampant despite being notified multiple times of issues to the point I had to contact city code compliance and have started working with them, multiple other residents who also have mold issues with smell and their kids getting sick with respiratory issues, electrical issues that they have been notified of that have never been addressed and smoke detectors out of date by a year that I will be reporting to the fire Marshall since it’s been two weeks and no one has done anything. Violence outside my apartment coming home to a young woman being beat into the pavement with a large group watching til the police came. And the office uses other residents to scare and bully residents and their children. The office manager illegally provided address information about one resident to another resident that the office used to scare her and her kids. Bullying families who have survived domestic violence is unbelievably unethical and awful.

I am a resident of Block 334 for less than one month. My experience does not meet the price point associated with the property. Leasing team did offer a solution on my arrival day, due to flight cancellations. Team made process of getting keys simple. However, the main elevator located steps from unit has been out, with no signs of repair. The freight elevator entry way that residents are left no choice to use opposed to stairs has a stench of fabuloso and urine. I have asked on three separate occasions for a valet trash can, front desk and a maintenance worker which neither interaction presented resolve. There is dog feces in the stairwell. The door handle from the outside access point to stairway A has been forced off, hanging by one screw.

I have not been able to use the resident garage entry due to a programming malfunction on the properties end. This has left me with the only option of opening my car door, entering a guest code and pulling in. The allergens (dust, possibly chemicals, and mold in shower) have caused me to have to take a steroid for my severe allergy attacks caused by being in the unit. The cabinets when cleaned, leave behind a brown stain. The very first time I used the shower, I was met with standing water due to an unaddressed drainage clog.

Ultimately, the price point when measured against Texas’ price point and my experience are not complimentary. In addition to my health being affected within my unit, there seems to be very little resolve for the tenants.

I live at Jada Legacy in Plano, my A/C and thermostat stopped working/running on 4/28 and it took them 3 days and me nonstop calling for them to come by and look at it. After eventually looking at it and saying “we don’t know” they gave me a portable unit and never came back. After a week, I had to call to find out they ordered parts. They still have not been back as of 5/10 and I have yet to get an update.

I lived at this property over 2 years. I was a great resident.
I had to relocate after my lease was up. I actually had a credit upon leaving but they came up with a excuse the carpet needed replacing. That is not true I am a very very clean person to the point of craziness. I get my carpet cleaned about three times a year. Fast forward I get a notification that something has been added to my credit report. I look it up and it is from the Brixton saying that I owe $400 for unpaid rent. No one ever tried to contact me regarding this matter I never got a letter sent to my forwarding address. I would not of even known it was on my credit if I did not have an alert.
Now I can’t get any answers are a return call from Fairfield or the collection agency. I am now going to proceed with an attorney on this matter because I have documentation showing I have never been late and I owe nothing.

After waiting several long weeks & days Edgar the maintenance man came & repaired everything that was on the list. He did a superb job. I know it wasn’t his fault it took so long it was the breakdown of communication that starts with the leasing office first & foremost. Kudos Edgar you did an outstanding job. This rating is for Edgar 5 stars!!!

Do not rent from them. I live at Cypress View Villas in Weatherford, Tx & the property has been ruined with unfinished projects, code enforcement fines & frequent rent hikes. I am a Senior citizen that opted to move by end of lease & they turned off my A/C to my 3rd floor unit, refusing to restore it!

I rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Paradise Oaks in Austin, for one year and 3 times I had issues with the Ac during the summer and one with the heater during winter. You call the office and they never let the maintenance people know of the issues or they just ignore the calls or the requests. They even stole one of my packages worth more than $200 because they gave it to the receptionist, and they said they never got my package. I called the usps and the store who send the package and they confirmed that it was deliver to the office personnel. They also charged me $1000 for deposit supposedly $400 for my dog and $600 for not having rental history. Deposit which I haven’t got back since I move out 8 months ago, that’s a lot of money they kept, I should have got back at least some of that money. Now am getting collection calls supposedly for owing money for breaking a contract which was never broken, My contract ended and I gave the 60 day move out notice. No wonder most of their old management got fired but they still got some of that people that don’t do their job right, that’s the reason they still having issues.When I lived there they were always sending me notes with different charges and when I ask what this charges were about, no one knew. Just a bunch of thieves in that office.

My son is a resident at Kensley Apts Homes in Irving,Tx which is one of your properties. He has been without running water for 2 days now along with other residence in his building, this incident happened without any warning to the residence and your office staff is forwarding all calls to voicemail. This is very unprofessional and this isn't the first time something like this has occurred. My son has tried several times to contact maintenance line which goes to a call center not staff in office and call center says someone is working on it and that's all they know which again is unprofessional. This is very upsetting because this is my son's first home and this is his experience. Hopefully this issue can be resolved as soon as possible.
