Hertz will accept prepaid reservations for times when they are closed. If you go to another location and ask them to fulfill the prepaid reservation you will wait 30min on hold and they will charge you over 200% more even though the two locations are within 5 miles.

Hertz is not sorry despite what they say below because if they were sorry they would have honored the original prepaid rate rather than trying to charge me over $270 instead of the original $97. If they were really sorry they would be offering to pay the cost of the new rental. Sorry's online doesn't pay for money out of pocket.

I had the car for less than a day, same day booking and drop off. The gentleman that helped me, I wish I could remember his name but I think it's Devon? Anyway he was so patient and so friendly even though there were a lot of other customers to help. He even gave me a ride to my auto body shop. Very kind staff!

Although this place is convenient and I got a good deal on a rental. THE individual that rented me the car was very disrespectful.I don't know his name he is either a young Hispanic or white male .Of course no one has name badges.

Trash customer service, rude person who answered the phone on 5/22 just before close -- I was unable to get through to talk to a real person to convey that my ETA was 5:05pm -- I already have a reservation booked and paid for by an insurance company, and yet, the answer is "no, we stop taking reservations at 5pm". Already have a reservation, this person clearly doesn't value customers, and maybe both the branch and the brand. This is the kind of customer service that warrants a closer look at potential business partners. Good bye.

They spoke very friendly when we initially walked in to rent a car and offered that we may switch the car anytime we want as long as we give them a call a day before. Well, the car we picked up had a mechanical issue and they directed us to work with other locations due to low inventory. We spoke with airport locations per their suggestion and was advised Signal Hills location will get back the same day after reserving a car...been several days of no follow up and was finally told this morning that they cant help and we need to check with other locations.
