Was not a pleasant experience at all. I moved in with water sitting in the wash machine. Now they supposedly did their inspection yet the water was there the very 1st day I moved in and when I tried to run the machine it did not work. We went round and round about this as they kept citing my lease saying I signed as is. The hot and cold water was reversed in the kitchen meaning the hot was actually cold water and cold was the hot. I ran the dishwasher and it did not have a heat dry therefore the doors etc stayed wet and had to be hand dried. Great place for mold to grow
My lease says I am to run exhaust fans in the bathroom so as to keep mold and moisture down well neither fan works in each bathroom. I didnt even have a shower rod in either bathroom. The blinds were broken the AC area hadnt been cleaned in years and the filter was beyond dirty and did noot fit in properly yet the lesse had all kinds of rules on how to maintain it. The windows are missing half if the window panes and the screens were torn and one broken and were mcguyvered onto the frames. There were no gfi outlets in the kitchen, the ceiling lights keep flickering on and off. The stove had so much white grease inside the racks were never cleaned and I scrubbed the heck out of them to make that stove look decent and useable. And lastly when I plugged into the ekectical sockets the plugs fell out. How old are those sockets I wonder.
When I reported all this on my inspection and also cited the fl state codes and fl state landlord tenets act and stated I was getting legal advice I was finally told they decided to let me out of my lease and stated as they did not like the way I spoke to the team members which by that time I was pissed off to say the least, that they had outstanding reviews from other tenets and the apartment was completely remodeled and up to code. Really with all that its up to code.
I even went as far as to recaulk areas around the tub and tiolets, replaced the rusted deteriorating handles on the toilets, new faucet knobs in one bathroom which were so old the paper with the hot cold labels under the plastic was just a film stuck to the knob and new door stoppers to replace the ancient rusted ones just to make it nicer for me. After doing all this Im told they would reimburse me my deposit if I left the apt in good condition. Hah. Its in better condtion now than when I moved in and certainly cleaner.
Shame on IGC and shame on the landlord.Slum lords.
Ive owned my own place in various states and I can honestly say Florida is the worst for real estate and their laws. Ive been kicked out of a bar a time or two in my 20s but never from an apartment landlord who doesnt maintain their property yet expects me to.
I am a senior and a vet who is now homeless not to mention its the holidays. This is what you get when you as a tenet stand up for your rights. Never recommend IGC to anyone. I saw another one of their properties and it was so awful for the price they are asking. Total rip off. No conscious. ALL about the money. Hope they all sleep peacefully and have a wonderful holiday

As of dec 1st..I moved out..I had told Brianna that I would be out by that time and could not turn in my keys until mon the 2nd because they were closed. I did that at 9am sharp. Now I keep getting past due notices on my rent and went to my portal to see I am being charged late fees..Now I have sent 2 Emails to brianna and have called her 3x to discuss this plus I sent a chat msg concerning this. Ive also given them 3x my forwarding address. Now they wonder why Im upset because they do not answer to emails or phone messages. They have not explained when or how I am to get my deposit back plus half a month rent that is owed to me nor anything about rentvine and the past due notices plus the charges. No communication whatsoever. Unprofessional!! And they want to scold me on how I talk with the team when they dont even have common courtesy to respond. Still waiting for a response. you will not ruin my credit bc you didnt do your job.Dont rent from them.

Renting can be stressful, but IGC has been the best rental company and property managers I've ever had. Any time we had an issue, they were always on top of it with almost immediate responses. Of course, there's only so much they can do because it's on the owners part to approve maintenance orders, but we also had a great property owner that took care of his house. I rented for 3 years through IGC, and if there was ever a communication issue, it was resolved very quickly. Thank you to the IGC team for being wonderful!

Absolutely horrible service. Would not recommend. Tried calling multiple times to schedule a tour and got no answer. Finally went online and scheduled it that way, waited a week and a half to see the place, and had my tour cancelled with zero notice. No text, no call, no email. They had plenty of time to do whatever they needed to do, it’s just pure laziness. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your housing needs. Would rate negative stars if possible

I recently signed up with Rentals America and have Troy as my property manager. I could not be happier. He had my property fixed up at a reasonable cost and it looks great. In addition, he found a renter within 2 weeks of when I called him and signed a lease at the target rent price I was hoping to get.
