We used Jay to both sell our old home and buy the new one. He is knowledgeable, professional and kept us aware of all aspects of the transactions. In purchasing our new residence, he was with us every step of the way, from being with us as we looked at the property, negotiating the purchase with the other realtor and setting up and being there for the home inspection. He was a great help in finding a mortgage broker who provided fast easy service at an exceptional interest rate. Finally, he set the closing up and was there with us.
In selling our old house he did a walkthrough and gave us suggestions on items which would help sell the property. He listed the property at a realistic price on a Wednesday afternoon with an open house on Saturday. Showings began on Thursday and continued through Sunday. On Monday we had multiple offers and chose what we considered the best offer and went into contract at a price of a little over 5% over asking. Again, he stuck with us through the closing while having to navigate around a couple of issues that arose during the process.
Based on our experience we would recommend Jay to anyone buying or selling real estate!

I’ve worked with Jay Irvine multiple times. He sold my home in Stamford as well as my parents home in Ridgefield Connecticut. He was phenomenal. I had interviewed 4 other agents and he was by far the most transparent and ambitious out of all of them. I didn’t feel like I was being “sold” at all. He had a great plan and was very clear on setting expectations of what to expect through out the transaction. He got me many showings on my home and multiple offers. My parents home was a buyers market and made sure to not leave any money on the table. He negotiated very well on our behalf during inspection and advised us well through out the sale.
