We planned a trip DC for my son's birthday and booked 6 tickets on JetBlue weeks ago. Well, I am extremely ticked off and frustrated with JetBlue now because they canceled our flight the night before were to leave in the morning. To make matters worse, they didn’t even offer any viable alternatives with their own airline. I have the screen shot to prove it. We were forced to book with a completely different airline, and it ended up costing us an additional $3,000 because it was last minute—far more than our original flight. When I called JetBlue, they gave me a refund but they said they couldn't do anything else to make up for it

JetBlue delayed our international flight multiple times and tried to gaslight us into believing that we were responsible for almost missing our connecting flight and the cherry on top was the team member kiosk agent had an attitude and tried dismissing my situation. Please do yourself a favor and pick a different airline. We will not be flying JetBlue again.

I’ve been a loyal JetBlue customer since I was 18 and have always had positive experiences—until my recent trip to LAX with my family. This time, it was deeply upsetting. I had booked seats together for our family as we were traveling with a baby, but at check-in, I found my husband had been moved 8 rows away without any prior knowledge. When I contacted customer service, they advised me to speak with the gate agents, who showed little empathy and simply suggested I ask the person in my row to switch. I was left feeling helpless, anxious, and overwhelmed, and after a lot of tears and distress, the person finally agreed to swap seats.
The stress and anxiety caused by this experience had a significant impact on my mental health and turned our family trip into an incredibly distressing ordeal. To avoid reliving this, I had to pay around $500 for new seats on our return flight just to ensure we could sit together as a family.
JetBlue, I hope you will consider improving your family seating policies and offering more support for parents traveling with young children to ensure others do not go through this same hardship.

I decided to take my wife and 3 small children on a trip to Florida, flying into Fort Lauderdale. Everything went fairly smoothly on the way out from Buffalo minus 1 rude steward on the plane.
Due to the fact we have a 4 month old 18month old and 4 year old, we had a lot of assisting devices (car seats, booster seat, strollers) getting this all to the check baggage area was extremely stressful and difficult with only 2 adults. The attendant at Jet Blue in buffalo said it would be fine if my wife put the kids coats and stuffed animal in the bag the car seat was in to ease the burden of carrying it all through TSA and on the plane. My wife asked if it was OK to do so on the way home and she was told it was fine.

Yesterday however, as we arrived 2hrs before our flight, we were met by one of the nastiest women I've ever encountered at the bag check area at Jet Blue in Fort Lauderdale. She was on a power trip and started questioning everything we had in our assisting bags and stating they were too heavy to be just car seats. My wife was honest and explained what she was told in buffalo and we had put the coats for our little kids in there as we were told that wasn't an issue. She began scolding us to the point her coworker was looking at her like she had lost her mind. She then made us wait while she claimed she was going to get her manager, knocking our boarding passes and my wife license on the ground in her tizzy. She came back and said yeah were aren't taking it! She then gave us grief about our regular checked bag being 4 lbs overweight and ordered us to remove 4lbs from the bag. We took out a small bag that was inside and then she ordered us to take something else cause we took too much out! This type of behavior went on longer but Long story short she basically screwed with us for 30 minutes and I had to fight with the kiosk and pay $50 to check our assisting device/car seat because it had our infant and toddlers jackets. So in the end they had to hold the plane because of her antics we had to run to the plane after dealing with TSA giving us grief with the kids and pulling bags apart with breast milk and then loosing a bag.

The attendant at the terminal was great and held the plane door as few extra minutes as we struggled to get the kids all situated and compact the strollers we brought to the gate. She said she remembered what it was like traveling with babies. We were both sweating profusely by the time we were seated. Although she was great, I would not reccomend flying with small children on Jet Blue. They aren't helpful or compassionate with small children, especially in Fort Lauderdale. The customer service is spotty at best and I will be taking my business elsewhere, whenever possible. We will be calling to lodge a complaint. Traveling with little fussy tired kids is stressful to the children and parents this behavior is uncalled for and you Jet blue should train there people to do better or start weeding out the bad eggs.

I would give zero if I could. Absolutely destroyed my equipment. You'd think for paying to have bags on they would handle with care. Specially for those prices. 800.00 in damage and 1200.00 broken machine. Cause they hire people who don't care about your luggage. Never had this issue with spirit. Extremly disappointed since I've flown 6 tines this year alone with jetblue. And I highly doubt they will give me my money back. Careless employees, and rude service.

I wanted to write this review as I will be writing an email to headquarters as well. I've always believed that a company should have above all professionalism and care for their companies and the experience I had with this company has been beyond disgusting. On June 24 I flew to Ecuador on flight number XIYXBB and there was only one guy there that was part of the crew besides the pilot. We had requested the "even more space" seats along with my husband because we were traveling with our service dog and our son which is a lap infant. We were supposed to be boarding first but the flight was delayed for an hour. We waited an hour to then proceed to the gate and expect to board the plane. There was this very RUDE guy that told us we had to wait on the side in order to check the paperwork for our service animal and our PCR. He waited until everyone else boarded the place to check our paperwork, which was another hour. When he finally checked our paperwork and let us in he told us there was no more SPACE for our bags which we had 2 carry-ons plus the diaper bags, because OBVIOUSLY everyone else that boarded before us occupied that space, and he proceeded to tell me that if I didn't like it, I can GET OFF THE PLANE. After all this a lady pressured me to HURRY UP and get my infant out of the stroller faster because they needed to leave. After this horrible experience we finally board the plane and they said they offered "different" types of snacks to what they only gave us a bag of cheezeits not even letting us choose. The lack of professionalism, the rudeness, the disrespect. I am never in my life flying with this company again and I want to make sure all my family members and my friends know about this so they won't purchase from this company ever again. BTW good luck if you want to complain because they take 3 hours to answer the phone. On our way back I had the same experience, they don't even have an office that is currently working in Ecuador and in order to make any changes to a flight the crew in Ecuador has to contact a customer service agent here in the United States, which is ridiculous because they don't even have a direct line. My husbands flight was delayed and then cancelled after he waited 6 hours. My flight was on time, but they conveniently forgot to mention that I had to pay a fee for my lap infant of $130 dollars and they said they couldn't add my infant themselves but they needed someone from the USA to do it. They had me , my 72 year old mother and my son waiting standing up on the counter for almost 3 hours. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS COMPANY!!! It is better to pay extra and not be charged for a bag, and fly in a better company which there are much better companies.
