Joan O. was a blessing to my family in the sale of the home our parents shared so much of life with us (pics below). It was bittersweet for us all, but her personal touch and professional knowledge were above and beyond. She made sure we knew exactly what was needed and what we could anticipate when selling. It's been a while since we purchased with Joan, but if anyone I've met deserves a great review it is Joan. You see, Joan is now our neighbor. After searching for a house for a 10 day period in the St. Pete/Bradenton area, my wife and I made multiple offers towards the end of 2020 in the area,. Eventually, at the end of our rope, we stumbled upon a house that was for "Sale by Owner" close to Anna Maria Island. Joan was the owners neighbor and Realtor. They were ready to put it on the market in two days. We visited the house on the last Saturday we were in town and revisited it on the following Day (Sunday). Not only was Joan there, she agreed to represent both of us (Buyer and Seller). She did it so well I was in awe of her professionalism and courtesy (my Mom is a Realtor). When it was all said and done we not only sealed the deal but we made a couple of great friends whom we'll always be thankful for. The home we purchased is a gem and checked all of our boxes. I truly cannot say enough good things about these women !
Joan helped my parents with their move in the past and I got the honor of having both her and Julie help me with my purchase and sale. Julie provided the professional advice and personal service we needed in the sale of our condo. Shortly after we listed with Julie, we were called away on a family emergency. Julie volunteered to make sure that the condo would be ready to show and arranged for needed room painting and carpet cleaning. We were buying a new home in Florida for a primary residence while living in Ohio. Julie was amazing in her responsiveness to adjusting our search criteria as well as arranging and conducting virtual tours. I never thought I'd be comfortable buying a home with just a FaceTime video walk through but that's exactly what we did! Julie walked us through all steps needed since it had been 22 years since we'd last bought a house and a lot had changed. She assisted with forms and local contacts to complete all inspection needs. She did all this with managing a crazy client load and yet was always pleasant on the phone and responding at all hours of the day and into the night. I did fly in to see the home before our inspection period was up and met Joan who showed me through the house since Julie was traveling. That's what I call teamwork!
