Kern County Human Services Ridgecrest

I went into the office last week because i recived my packet for cal fresh with wrong, way out of date information i never submitted for my case. The wrong information was on it even though I had submitted all the up to date acurate information last month so I could even get an appointment time, and yes I recived the appointment letter too. The only women with the nose ring and brown hair that works the front desk is always rude and seems like she actually makes more work for herself by making up excuses for why she cant help people... then to just do her job. It actually started feeling like a hostile office because the ONLY women security gard there, to add to the much unfortunate time I was already having at the office, was yelling and hollering in the office lobby about something outside and starting to get louder with ever question I had asked the Indian lady. The lady behind the desk just kept on asking me over and over "do you have the proof?!?" I told her "yes" I had submitted everything last month but she refused to even look up my account to see what was actually submitted. This is definitely not the first time these two have been overly unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional. I still have no answers for why the completely wrong information was entered into my file or why these two ladys are so full of hate when people come in... I felt they where basically just harassing me and probably other people in need to stop asking questions about our own cases, and to go away. Its aweful that these two are being employed to "help" the public and allowed to act like this in a public office. I did appsolutly nothing wrong in showing concern and asking how I can get these falsafications fixed that where put on my case and definitely didn't deserve to have to deal with both there drama and whatever their appinons are of me seeking help for something I HAVE PAID INTO FOR SO LONG. This place needs an audit for sure. I FORSURE WAS BEING JUDGE, TARGETED AND RIDICULED. It sucks people have no shame and are allowed to justicy there unjustifications.

Me and my children were left homeless and now since December 5th been trying to get a replacement card and still not here. No rent has been paid and I only been here a month. No food for my children we are at the senior center trying to get food. No Christmas for my children at all so heart breaking

I couldn't believe no one was there at 8:00am.

They expect an 18 year old working a fast food job to provide for her mother father and younger brother just because I live in the house with them. My family has no money whatsoever and have applied countless times to jobs all over RC, we have no idea where they are going to get any food or money from for the house and could be homeless soon so thank you to all the ignorant people running this county

They take 2 months to help the homeless get any ebt or any other financial assistance that’s ridiculous in other counties it takes 3 days

Literally the worst Human Resources in the state it hasn’t had good reviews in years they should be investigated I do not recommend going
