Our son went here for kindergarten. His teacher was amazing, and he was a straight-A honor student. We switched to a charter school that was supposedly an A+ rated school for his first grade year and absolutely hated it there. Long story short, our son is back at loughman and excelling!

My son is in his second year at LOE, and I cannot rate it highly enough. With Ms Mills as his KG teacher last school year & Ms Dunkel as his G1 teacher this school year, we have been totally blessed. All members of staff that I've come in contact with have been friendly & thoughtful. We had the chance to move our son to a Charter School and didn't give it a second thought, why would we move him? Sadly, we will be moving out of State in June so we have to move schools. This has taught me that viewing average scores etc, isn't always the best answer, likewise listening to others blinkered opinions.

We moved here mid-way through the school year. The first day of school, my son came home in tears because he was having an issue with one of his teachers. This went on for a month and then I finally called the school. They asked if I could come in right away and they set up a meeting with myself and the teacher in the principal's office. I was able to express my concerns and the teacher was very open with me and handled it very well. It was resolved immediately and my son had no further issues. I can't express well enough how impressed I was with the responsiveness of the principal and the teacher. My son finished with 3 A/B honor roll awards, perfect attendance, and high scores on the FSA exam.

This school routinely has low ratings, but it's not the fault of the school or the teachers. The staff is excellent. I have a neighbor who is a teacher at a different school. She told me the scores in this area are notoriously low because this is a high transient area. People move to and from this area constantly. In the last 4 months of school, my son's class lost 2 and gained 4 new students. My own son started there less than 2 months before the FSA exam. Don't judge them too harshly.

UPDATE: My son is in 4th grade and is at an 8th grade reading level now. He's expected to max out his FSA scores. He is THRIVING at this school. I couldn't be more proud. Thank you Loughman Oaks!

Wonderful school and teacher , I though due to grades in school was gonna be bad but not at all! Office ladies are kind with kids, teacher specially mrs nunci 3 rd has been very professional and patience with my daughter that has an 504 plan throughout class dojo daily communication! Can’t ask for more her grades has gone up from c d to a and b

My son entered now in January to first grade and the transition has been difficult because he does does not dominate english, but his teacher Mrs. Gonzalez helps him a lot and above all there is great communication .. This school is excellent.

Very substandard school. Faculty does not follow IEPs as they should be. Ranking of 3/10 on most sites. FCAT test scores well below average. Homework being assigned is not in sync with what is being taught in school. I highly recommend a different school.

I loved this school I love there staff and there track team I was on it we all worked together and won 1st place for boys and girls wish I was still there
