Cardio-Drumming looks like so much 😆 FUN. Must try! Your instructors are fabulous, fit, enthusiastic, and so encouraging. Taught dance myself, and looking to join, this Calorie burning, happy 🔥 group!

In regards to their youth basketball league. They have several great refs, but one in particular is the worst. It’s one thing to make bad calls or to make the right call and have a coach think you were wrong. That’s normal in sports. But for a ref at a youth rec league to talk bad about kids is a disgrace. Saying they can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t play defense. Saying they are horrible. Disgusting. What makes it worse is the league kicked the coach out and banned him from the gym because he stood up for the kids. The coach didn’t cuss, didn’t do or say anything physical. Literally just asked the ref to stop and when the ref laughed the coach went and told all the parents what was happening. The league director Colin didn’t address anything about the ref with the coach. All he did was ban the coach. DISGUSTING.

Fields and park are always well maintained. Love the softball tournaments here. Always fun, except the mother on the opposing team who has a horrible attitude and should be ashamed of herself for acting like a child in front of children. Stay classy Madeira. Well, at least most of you.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. This place is an absolute joke. My niece plays in there soccer league, $75. They didn’t get enough people to sign up so instead of just cancelling the league and refunding the money they decide to try and salvage the league. So they have to play with smaller teams, 5 on 5. Not only that no refs, the coaches ref the game, yea there is no bias on the calls there. $75 and they don’t even have whistles to stop the play. My niece unfortunately landed on the director and I guess co-director team. It’s a complete joke. The director disappeared for half of the game which left the co-director in charge. He barely communicated with the kids. Twice was on his phone on the field during the game, while play is going not coaching. This league should have been cancelled and everybody refunded. It’s an absolute travesty. Needless to say this will be her last season playing in this league ever. We will be going to Tampa Bay Club Sports. If your thinking about joining this league I recommend you just got play in traffic, it will be less painful.

The fields are beautiful but whoever designed it did not anticipate the parking, and the restrooms both far far from adequate. Also the concession stand looks like a coach's office rather than a clean place to serve food

Their soccer league is an absolute joke and waste of money. Teams are stacked and there's only one referee. Obvious blatant disregard for the rules of soccer leads to frustration among the players. We will definitely not be using this league again and will be recommending that parents take their players elsewhere if they want any semblance of a soccer league.

We volunteered and serve on ROC the Barriers Miracle By the Bay. Our event was November 16 and featured sponsors, charities, food teucks and adaptive sports for disabled youth and families. Beautiful park and Madeira Beach Rec Center staff and facilities tremendous! They should ne proud! Thanks to Jay Hatch Director!
