I was in the lottery for sober apartments I received #2. When it got time for me to go my sober living Lowell house told a bunch of lies about me. So Maloney said no. I appealed it and still no. I contacted disability discrimination and I still couldn’t go. Not 1 person at Maloney asked my side of the story and Lowell house just told blanted lies. It really sucked they both have no hearts

I have worked with Bia P. for an affordable unit application on one of the Maloney Properties. She was highly helpful and responsive. We have finished the application quickly and I’m looking forward to moving to my new apartment now. I would like to sincerely thank Bia for making my application process so smooth.

They run Clocktower Apartments in Harrisville like slums. Management and maintenance are condescending and incompetent. They take advantage of kindness and patience and burn you. You’re treated as an inconvenience and a replaceable nuisance whose home isn’t worth sacrificing a shred of profit margin over.

Despite rent increasing yearly there’s no basic upkeep in the building and common areas. I don’t mean intermittently, I mean for years and years. The walls and carpets are full of stains, gouges, and grime; they’ve never been cleaned or touched up. The wall-to-wall windows have never been cleaned and they leak. The elevator buttons are falling off and the safety inspection has been expired for two years. Lights in the common areas stay blown out for years. Areas are cluttered with maintenance supplies. I’m embarrassed to have family walk through when visiting. Inside the units, appliances are cheap and pushing 15 years old. The water fixtures are leaky garbage. I know multiple tenants whose appliances broke down, only to be given old broken replacements pulled from vacant units

My experience with Maloney Properties has been so smooth and stress free. Bia was personally handling the transition into my new apartment and she has been amazing throughout the whole process. Very responsive and attentive to any questions or concerns I may have had. And if she didn’t know the answer to something she would immediately find the answer for me in a timely manner.

So very happy to say that after today, we will no longer be giving this horrible and unprofessional company ANY of our time or hard earned money. Moving day is tomorrow! Our building, Depot Village in Hanson is a little over a year old and crumbling already. We had a huge water pipe burst on February 5th mainly due to their lack of prep for the temps and poor rushed construction and Maloney did nothing about until 6 days later and STILL try telling tenants that no water got into the wall or floors even though the restoration team and fire chief confirmed to many of us, that was NOT true at all. Avoid them or any property they or Dakota Properties owns within New England, all of Dakota properties are managed by Maloney..When you state facts to them and back them up, you become a “problem tenant”. And you are ignored 98% of the time. Right now we have zero management here. No property manager or assistant manager, just our maintence guy every day.Tenants have at least 2 months worth of rent checks not cashed yet…but if you are a minute late with rent, they slap a notice to quit on your door, that is also how any problem or issues are addressed, just notes slapped on your door IF you get that lucky…. Please consider other places, this building is unsafe at this point for anyone.
