I've lived here for 14 years, and I still have plumbing issues in my apartment. The basement has a water issue that I reported in August because the county Sheriff saw how water was flooding on the ground right next to my apartment and he told me to notify them because it could be a major issue if there was a water pipe burst. So I notified them but they never came inside my apartment to make sure everything was ok and now water is leaking into the basement. On another note, I was going through several health issues and it became very challenging to pay my rent. Honestly, the management, legal department, and their attorney do not care if you sink or swim. I've been to court to try to keep my place of residence and have resided here for over 14 years, but when I told my personal attorney that Middlesex Management was my landlord, he told me their attorneys are the most difficult nuts to crack and very hard to get any sympathy from as it relates to negotiating a settlement in my favor. And, yes, I have experienced this in court because after 14 years of living here, I am facing an eviction they enacted 5 days before Christmas! My point is that if they were planning to evict me, they could have waited til the new year. I wouldn't refer my worse enemy to rent from any properties owned by this place and if I could give it a 0 star, I would. Just looked them up on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and there is a message in red letters that says they are not an BBB accredited.

We recently had a situation with Middlesex Management involving a pet fee that was added to our account despite being paid at the time of lease signing. While the process was initially stressful, we were incredibly impressed and grateful by the way it was ultimately handled.

The manager, Viola, reached out personally, reviewed our situation, and waived both the pet fee and any pet rent, turning what could have been a prolonged issue into a quick and fair resolution.

We really appreciate that Middlesex Management has people like Viola who listen and make sure things are fair for their tenants. Big thanks for turning a tough situation into a great experience!

I moved into Ewing Town Center in June and I have been living here for six months now, and here is my list of everything that is wrong with Ewing Town Center:

1. There is a gap at the bottom of my front door.
2. The living room floor is not installed properly.
3. The kitchen faucet was not tightened down to the kitchen sink.
4. The grout sealer is not cohesive.
5. The ice maker in the freezer does not work properly. When the ice tray gets filled with ice, the ice maker will shut off the entire freezer, which in return, causes my food to unthaw.
6. Framing for the pantry in the kitchen was cut unevenly.
7. The tiles in the shower were not installed properly, some tiles stick out further than others.
8. The overflow cap for the tub is not installed properly.
9. The faucet to the tub is not installed properly.
10.The plate that sits at the back of the neck of the shower head is not affixed to the wall.
11.There are gaps between the base boards and the floor.
12. I had to write two complaint letters due to the fact that the tenant who moved in upstairs from me allows her son to run around all hours of the night like he is outside. By the way management has done nothing about this.
13. Another ignorant tenant was leaving their dog in the garage and it was doing nothing but barking all morning until its owner took it back inside.
14. And now something is crawling inside of my ceiling. I created a maintenance request; my maintenance request was removed from the resident portal and maintenance never came to respond to the issue.

We lived in Edison Woods for 1 year. That's all it took for us to know that was not the place for us. The curb appeal is HORRIBLE. Parking is Terrible and the noise from upstairs neighbors was unbearable. Not to mention Middlesex Management customer service are rude when you call. If you want peace of mind and a nice place to call home DON'T MOVE INTO EDISON WOODS and stay clear of Any Middlesex Management properties

I am having trouble receiving my security deposit 34 days after my move-out date. I called USPS 10 times to try to track down the package and multiple customer service agents verified that they put nothing but a zip code for the address of the package. Moreover, that zip code is a wrong zip code and they blame it on me saying it is because my handwriting is misleading. The package is currently completely lost, I tried to have them mail a second one and they say I have to wait 180 days so that the lost one will expire, otherwise they are not willing to mail a second one. According to New Jersey Security Deposit Law section 46:8 - 21.1, landlords must return the security deposit within 30 days of the lease ending. If the landlord fails to return the security deposit on time, tenant can sue for double the amount. I have been contacting them through phone calls and emails and I hope they can resolve this by the end of 2024, otherwise I will have to gather evidences and look for an attorney

Make it almost impossible to communicate with or get in touch with. Insist on using antiquated and slow communication systems that make their tenants' live much harder than it needs to be and makes no effort to update policies to make tenant's lives easier. I’m extremely disappointed with the management at this apartment complex. Communication is practically nonexistent – getting responses to maintenance requests or inquiries takes days, if not weeks. When issues are finally addressed, they often provide only temporary fixes, meaning the same problems reoccur frequently. The staff comes off as dismissive and indifferent to residents’ concerns, which is frustrating. Additionally, common areas are not maintained well, and basic amenities are often out of service. Overall, the management’s lack of professionalism and attention to tenant needs makes this place difficult to recommend. Too sad there is only 1 star to rate them.
