I stayed in one of Mission Sands properties with my family and everything went smoothly from the arrival to the end of our stay. I am particularly picky with the places I stay, so I can say that the property was on point, and more importantly CLEAN! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book with them again.

They "hire" college internship for free labor and when their contract is up after 3 months they hire them for minimum wage and wonder why their turnover for employees is so high. They put these minimum wage employees "on call" so all emergency or after hours calls get routed to this employees PERSONAL phone line and only give that employee an extra $100 PER WEEK that they're on call 24/7 which I'm pretty sure is illegal. The houses on the lower end are filled with roaches and we would call the exterminators constantly. Most of the bbqs and anything made of metal is rusted due to being so close to the ocean yet the owners of these houses refuse to spend the minimal amount of upkeep to keep the properties high end. Mission sands could have been a great company but they don't have nearly enough employees and the ones they do have are so underpaid that they don't really care.

We stayed at one of their beach front properties. The view was great! The living room had an accordion door which could open up to extend to the balcony. It was perfect for our vacation. The rooms were perfect size and well kept. We enjoyed our stay there!

Our team had an amazing experience here! We had a chance to meet with Brandon when we checked in, and he made sure we had all the info about the house ahead of time. Even when we had a brainfart and couldn't figure out the firepit, Brandon was available by phone to walk us through it. We successfully had a perfect night under blankets by the fire. It was so relaxing, and the view of the city was amazing. I am so excited to use Mission Sands Vacation Rentals on my next trip to San Diego, they were beyond helpful!

Good luck if you need to reach this company in an emergency. Called/text the emergency number 10+ times from midnight-3am for an emergency on Memorial Day weekend with no response until 8:20am the next day. Was then told by an employee, that number is not a “service” or a “hotline” it’s another employee and she was “sleeping” at the time! What a joke! On a big holiday weekend your “emergency contact” for all these rentals was sleeping! Do not recommend!

Great place to stay! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The check in process was so easy and the property was so clean and wonderful with a great view of the ocean! The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay.

Tried to call the emergency number on a saturday night. Called again on Sunday morning. No one there. Will proceed to file a formal noise complaint with the city of san Diego STRO so they can handle it with the owner and Mission Sands.

I have been incredibly impressed with Mission Sands and their Ocean Front PB two bedroom, two bath vacation rental. I have 30 years experience with short term furnished rentals. The staff, communication, follow up, courtesy is exemplary and this is their busy season! Thank you, your professionalism is extremely appreciated.
