As a professional real estate agent of 20 years I've worked with a lot of associations and managers. The staff here have been accommodating and easy to work with. It's a breath of fresh air compared to most "Management" groups in SW Florida. We were able to get in document everything a seller would want to show and display everything a buyer would have questions about. Jon Hosey is a true asset to the Moody River Estates community.

A mother and daughter wrote a reviews for Moody River, and mentioned "Karens". They have socialization problems and can't seem to get along with many people, so disregard. We've lived here for 8 years, and it is a wonderful place with kind people and the most awesome Social Committee that puts on fun events. We have Wine Women Wednesdays, Bingo Night, fun and unique gatherings and dinners, all thanks to volunteers. Our property managers are wonderful and respond to us almost immediately. We are lucky we found such a fun-loving and kind community! We feel safe here and so do our 2 pups.

We had a wonderful time. It s a beautiful area with good amenities. It felt safe to walk around. But they should do something about the alugators that just got into the pond not just post a sign. The houses are a little to close to each other.

I'm a delivery driver and I understand that we are to provide information to the security guards before gaining access to the residents. When making a delivery today, the guard that verified all the information needed, was extremely rude. The gate did not open, so she never pushed the button apparently. She said I would have to go around and do the process again. There were multiple vehicles in front of me since I had to go to the end of the line. Because of this woman, who sounded older than the next one I spoke to, my customer's delivery was late. My customer stated they have also heard from others that the guard has a nasty attitude. That guard does not deserve to have that job.

This is the WORST neighborhood to live in. KARENS everywhere. You pay half a million dollars for your house (probably more) and then you can’t do anything with it. You can’t host Childrens birthday parties or holidays without KAREN complaining. You can’t have grandkids over, you can’t have any kind of pets, and don’t even think about stepping outside your house for any reason whatsoever. And the clubhouse managers don’t do anything at all. They just allow KAREN (a 100 year old hag) to rule the neighborhood because everyone else is scared of her. It’s completely ridiculous. If you are in the market for a home DO NOT BUY IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD IT IS A TRAP!

If you are looking for an HOA run like a retirement community, with neighbors that will report you for every tiny detail, who would rather have a home sit vacant for months (or even a year) rather than have a renter move in..... well this is the place for you! When they say Moody River is a place like no other - believe it! On the day we moved in, I was welcomed with a note left on my car, reprimanding me for allowing my children to play outside! No play equipment is permitted either, so if you have children I would search for a more family friendly development - they are not welcome here.
It’s a shame that we’ve met the best and worst neighbors on the same street. Seaside Key COULD be a wonderful place to live..... but a few rotten apples def spoil the bunch. When our lease is up and we move, our home will once again join the numerous other vacant homes on the street.
